25th of Slate:
Hah, I have finally taken a body for myself. It has been a long, long afterlife for me, killing elves with fright and sending them into horrible pits of despair. That weakling Doren had no right to this body. This useful body I can finally utilize to it's true purpose, the murdering and killing of elven thieves. 'Nature is good, it gives all and provides all' said the elven diplomat. Well, it didn't provide me with a way to stop him from murdering the likes of me and him eating my corpse for breakfast!
4th of Felsite:
Another spirit like me is upon this fortress. Ekast, some random dwarf, has been possessed by a spirit referring to itself as 'Esta'. It would seem that I am not the only one with a grudge to end, or unfinished business.

The expedition leader....he seems like on of the spirits who have descended upon us. I can sense his spirit not belonging to that body, but...his spirit seems to be less traceable than Esta's, or kingfisher11's, or even Pan's, all of which I can feel because of their strong souls... Who is our leader and why have our souls returned? My soul has returned to kill elves, for what they did to my body, but others...I cannot tell so easily. I will go now, and see what I can find out.

The Phoenix was a legendary bird. It was said to be reborn every millenium by burning itself and rising from it's ashes. It was also told to have healing powers. It's feathers could bring the dead back, it's tears could heal even the most serious wounds.
Thus was the luck of Tobul Wheelscalded when the Phoenix took pity upon her and shed one tear to save her life.
