I can already see the possibilities.
Corrosion Mod made 10x better by actually getting infected, not just dying painfully.
Wasteland mod with actual FEV.
Zombie apocalypse forts: Survive as long as you can, your'e still going to die eventually. Just less horribly than anywhere else, since your death won't involve magma.
