I just realised something about Clockbender.

It assumes that we're advanced enough for computers and nanomachines ala modern day tech; he even has a specialty in electronics. IIRC we're at steampunk/clockpunk (if the Gear Sheriffs get in) level stuff, and computers would probably be huge steam-powered/clockwork-powered devices that aren't exactly miniaturisable; closer to the Difference Engine of Babbage and Lovelace than anything else.

Well, considering how Lillian's stuff works, if she gets in we'll be seeing a LOT of knockoff Sheriffs.

Apparently we're to be using Determination to gain new powers and stat boosts, but eh.

Yeah. Hoenn is the island of Kyushu, IIRC. I made Ren come from Kanto (which is, unsurprisingly, Kanto in real life) for the cultural nonsense.

Also, opinions on changing Kendra's type to fire so there's not as much overlap?

Do it if you want. I would advise changing to Ground more if you want to keep Mudkip.

Kendra already knows Ren, she might know some people depending on how recently she came to Hoenn.
