Eh, I've decided. I'm staying out of this one for the following reasons:
-High fatality. I really don't feel like filling out a long sheet if my character's going to die, even if they might (emphasis on might- as the OP says, my character's soul MAY just get taken by something else or we just don't have enough money) get resurrected. No point putting that much effort in at all. This is a pretty personal point of mine, since the rest of you clearly are okay with it.
-Lore's a mess. Seriously, we should have a basic lore dump in the OP just so we don't have to keep asking the GM questions. It just makes their lives easier. And, as we saw with Sanure earlier, the GM has their own life and thus things to do that basically make it impractical to keep to this model.
-Mechanics are poorly detailed, or at least the ones that aren't from Trespassers. Anything harder than a normal opposed roll (which is to say, including exponentials) really shouldn't be used, even if the person running it is okay with it, because it overcomplicates things. The class system is unexplained: what does the preferred stat even do? And if, say, Akroma could just use a reskinned Cleric using Charisma, is there really any point to a class list at all? I mean, if it's to stop people from being Wizards, then just put THAT in the OP instead of expecting to be able to catch every single exception. If nothing else, make your lives easier for it. More or less, the additions and revisions from Trespassers are pretty weak AND need to be more detailed in the OP.
Keep in mind, I'm not really mad at San, Shade, Projeck or anyone who worked or is going to play in this. I'm just explaining my reasons for not wanting to join while simultaneously criticising the fact that there's quite a whole lot of this that really needs to be ironed out before the game starts.
I'll be watching still, in case I change my mind, but I'm staying out for now.
