Konicek took a step closer. "Why, halfblood? Letter got you spooked and so you're afraid of a monster, waiting in the dark? Why such fear of going down there? "

18317
Konicek maintained his 'grin'. "Then it would be wise to choose this one."
His loose hand flexed. "Be careful, halfblood. Your elven roots are showing."

18318
Konicek grinned humourlessly.
"Scared, halfblood? You said you were a fighter. Did you lie? If there's something there as powerful as you fear, you may be needed."
He thudded the haft of the glaive down on the deck. "Don't back out on us now, halfblood."

We don't really need anything at the moment so we might move the cavalier around.

If we really have the urge to build something I would suggest a wharf so we can do some marine exploration.
+1

And hell, lobsters and crabs and caviar and stuff are luxury food, aren't they? We can harvest those as well. (For some reason... theres enough of the bastards...)

Query: How many people are stored in the colony ship?
30000

Those variants only apply to the cavalier.
Oh. In that case nevermind.

Also, Giglamesh - why the wharf, we do have 1 food overproduce atm. No sense in even more. Unless we find tradepartners, that is. :P Or you are going for recon. Oh well.
Surplus of food never hurts, and yeah, recon ships. If nothing else, theres plenty of minerals at the bottom of the sea to get to as a long-term goal. If we find another civilisation, chances are they'd have sea travel.

Also, no need to change the law for now - let's wait how the people behave. It's always better to give them small changes when needed, instead of having nothing to fork over when things get serious.

Konicek waits by the stairs leading to the lower deck. Idly, he scratches at the scabs already forming on his face. He grimaces as it cracks, letting another ooze of blood flow forth. Seeing Morazin coming down the stairs, he shifts the glaive off his shoulder. Konicek thrusts a thumb over his shoulder towards the way down.
"We ready?"

"Troubling, but we don't have an alternative."
Konicek flicks a finger against the potion, hearing a dull chime.
"Didn't tell us what this is either. Well, we must be wary, but we still have to go down to the lower deck.

No other options at all that dont include me being subservient to her and her will? I can't be outspoken, or actually involved?

From what I've seen, to be honest, no.

There's this huge contrast between the happier you talking about mathematics and the torn-up you talking about how you've talked to the lady.

She's stated she'll commit suicide if you leave her alone before. She talks about her other partner, no doubt knowing she'll inspire jealousy. Every time you talk to her you end up feeling bad! There's no easy path out, and it's less effort to stay in your rut of misery. But you need to move on to get better - and every time you talk to her it pulls you back.

We've tried to help to the best of our abilities, but like a drug addict - and the simile is quite accurate - it comes down to you. You need to do this, and you can do this.

"Maybe those were the exterminators he hired. if you're healed, firekin, we should move on. Looting this wreck can come after."
Put on the ring, head down

18327
Ok, quick question. If i put on the ring, will I know what effect it's had?

Does water drain down a well not matter the depth of the water? If it has to be a certain height, you could have the wells in the middle of the 3/7 bath, and dwarves would go into it, wash themselves (and possibly drink) and it'd be like actual working roman baths... kinda.

(Question, is it too late to join?)

We're all controlling a single character, not in a party-based game, so sure, knock yourself out. You are now part of the brain of a loli engineer administrator.

EDIT: ebbor you ninjaaaaaaaaaa

A single out-of-control fire is not going to burn down a city, people survived the middle ages...

Ever heard of the Great Fire of London? That pretty much did burn down an entire city. Of course, london didn't have actual magicians, but...

I think we should wait until they leave. Once out on the road, we might be able to steal it from them without them noticing and flee.

Actually, quick question, are we physically capable of speech? Or would we have to cast a spell to achieve communication?
