either that or dumping it on your own axedwarves pre-battle, BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD  :D

a) could we put down indoor items (eg beds) in the outside now? or do we dig a hole in the ground to put it in?  eg I want a manned bunker outside the fort, can I have
code:

........g..g....
................
...╔╬═╬═╬═╬═╬╗..
g..╬@.....@..╬..
...║.<B.B.B..║..
...╬....@....╬..
...╚╬═╬═╬═╬═╬╝..
........g.......
where fort/dirt are as they are in-game,
@ is your defenders
B is beds for defenders
< is the downstairs ramp out of the bunker
g is dead goblins  :D

or do I have to have a little two-level bit like this:

code:

........g..g....
................
...╔╬═╬═╬═╬═╬╗..
g..╬@.....@..╬..
...║.<     ..║..
...╬....@....╬..
...╚╬═╬═╬═╬═╬╝..
........g.......

%   % ,  % .   , .
 .     ,    %  .
,  %╔═════╗,   ,
.  , ║B B<B║ %   .
%  .╚═════╝.  ,
,    %   ,   %  .

with a bottom level where the beds/exit road are

b) I can tell you why those dwarves aren't pulling fish out of the water...

urist clashphlegm, fisherdwarf cancels fish: interrupted by kraken  :D

then again, when weapon wear gets implemented (if it's not put in yet), the aluminium weapons would take longer go bust after being damaged - it's rather easy to bend aluminium compared to eg cast iron, but will deform for longer before breaking - ie it's shorter to get to xaluminium swordx, but longer to get to XXaluminium swordXX and down from there  ;)

(I had the test results from lab session last week, but had to hand them in.  Some kind of internal assessment...  :p )

Exactly, the point is that the HUGE changes in the game environment in this one may require us to reroll the game universe

[QB]Made a mule pit - dug a hole, designated pond over it, and told them to put a mule in it instead of water.  Can imagine stuff being done by players with other animals, retractable bridges and pressure plates

YEEESSSSSS now we can drop the goblins into the pit with the elephants milling around below :P

Also Toady, make the last thing you do be the 'old end-game issues', leave the demon lords to last  :D

They better be, otherwise how are we gonna take down those damned elves :P

Woulda thought floodgate would have worked, it blocks the original 4 motions...

Surely they aren't that expensive  ;)

run up a new pocket (or small) world and go to war with the goblins with a few of your drunk mates, then check the history after you died/retired.  Most of them assume their current local government positions well before Amno Generatum 100, and spend most of their time walking about the towers until spring of 1050, which is when the shit hits the fan for them  :p

Fixed, easier to make derogitary remarks against the welsh, mostly because people seem to have a problem with them keeping to their native language groups.

And as for the making the viewpoint and finding evidence to support it, isn't that called "doing a sixty-minutes?

no but they have awful leadership and lose battles frequently because of it.  Remember how they started fighting good in the second half of WWI after most of their old pre-war leaders were dead?
