I just destroyed the last fortress i created with the actual version. One big cave in giving death to about 200 hundred dwarfs, countless imprisoned elves and goblins, endless kittens, chicken and dogs and destroying the most powerfull and valuable artifacts ever created. For example a full artifact armor made of adamantine. Also, a artifact adamantine sword with over 300 kills. In the process, an open connection between the circus and the surface was created, so the clowns will spread over the land. Also, I started to pour an ocean into the circus before my fortress crumbled to its end. Imagine the aftermath to the world. Big climate changes, deserting great parts of the world and causing drought and starvation all over the world. Also, legions of clowns killing and enslaving all people.
The world ends with my fortress  :D

you should make this some type of competition. i think nobody will create such a fortress just for you.

If you want to create a fortress for your adventurer, you can use a tool within DFHack to mark your fortress as a lair. Items shouldn't be scattered then.

I am German. How many languages I speak fluently? That's none of your business.  ;)
Most people I know are able to speak english very fluently, in fact that's no big deal here in Germany.

Makes sense, seeing as Dwarves are from Germanic mythology :P.
...somehow I dont think this has much to do with why there are German fans :P

And to think this is all before Toady put in language support.

I still can barely imagine playing a game where I can't read the vast majority of what is going on. Even IF modders could rename monsters and their bodyparts and items.

You know.. there is a myth that if you try really hard, it is possible to learn a new language! personally i think this is just esoteric and parascientific bullshit but who knows..  ;)

Falling items do zero damage at all.

Ever thought of a stone trap? Slade should be skull crushing lethal.
