I read
this article (about board games) and the idea stuck.
I've bought too many games that I've never played and even worse I can't seem to stop playing one game for 2 hours or so and then switching to a different game for another 2 hours and so on and so on. So I'm going to come up with a list of 10 games and only play these games for a year.
The list so far:
- Minecraft - the obvious choice, so many mods, lots of play time etc.
- Dwarf Fortress - Duh.
- Skyrim - open world exploring and lots of mods.
- Planetside 2 - not out yet but I plan to play this
- Arma 2/Dayz - Shooting things isn't fun unless if you can die in one shot!
- Grand theft auto 4 - Haven't beat this game on PC yet and the screwing around potential is limitless.
- Crusader Kings 2
- Stalker - Shadow of Chernoble - Because I love dieing a lot!
I need suggestions, preferably long games that I haven't played before.
Questions? There a topic about this that I couldn't find? (my search-fu is weak) Bets on how long I'll last? Want to post your own list?
