Yeah, to temper your expectations ... they did revamp the 1-50 slog and cut out a -ton- of useless side quests, but even then IMO the story doesn't really start getting good until level 40-ish.  50 to HW is going to feel like it takes forever (and it will) but there is some good story intermixed in that part.  Once you hit HW the pacing from there on out is much, much more improved.  And the story just keeps getting better.

I mean, if we're kind of moving into reminiscing ... for whatever reason Bastard Paranormal 2 always stands out in my mind.  It wasn't, probably, my best game, but it was wild and fun.  Mostly, I think, because of Meph's excellent setups with normal Paranormal games and then ... adapting that into a weird bastard game.

I can't, per se, say it was my favorite game, but it was by far and large the most memorable one.

I have periods where I do more or less game running, but being moderator on this subforum means I never actually disappear.

How -has- your experience been as a moderator?  I assume we haven't gotten out of line that much?

And, for the record, if Egan -is- scum then FoU is on my permanent shitlist.
