I emerge from the ruins of previous hills and deliver a series of sharp insults to each of the individuals fighting for the current hill, causing them all to walk away in shame as I take the undeadcathill for myself.

"Quickly, come with me!"

[their response]

"No time to explain, hurry!"

Then whisk them away to some secluded location.

I assume that the CIA is gonna start blazing a trail to me, once they find out about it from the Canadians?

I could see that happening, if/when they find out.

I am also assuming that they have taken me to Black Maple?

Depends. Where would you say that Black Maple would be situated?

@Gamerlord
Alright then, you're set. Take a seat anywhere you'd like, and kick back until you receive your very own vial of shimmering fluid.

Most of it seems to be in order. I just need to know which eye is the missing one, and ask that you lessen the amount of traits Samuel has.

The missing eye and impaired hand don't need to be listed as traits; they'll be noted under his physical status. Hardened Criminal, determined/stubborn (perhaps steadfast would be the word you're looking for?), intimidating, skilled in hand to hand combat, agile, and submachine gun/handgun proficiency are all valid traits, but the cap for starting traits is five, putting you one over the limit.

I re-materialize myself and shake my fist angrily in Objective's general direction.

I then use my GLORIOUS POWERS OF PERSUASION to turn GUNIN's forces against him and hand control of the hill over to me. because I am the hill's one and only true ruler.

I send legions upon legions of cannon fodder soldiers to ware down and wipe out any opposition on the hill, allowing to me to safely and easily claim it for myself. I'm God-King of the hill!

Zanzetkuken the Great

Zanzetkuken works through the night to bring all of the desired equipment to his dwarves. During this time, the Chosen One comes to the decision that no normal, garden-variety dwarven berserker will be sufficient for his plans; instead, he replaces the berserker with legendary dwarven barbarian Balthor the Stout. The barbarian takes a little more time to summon than a normal berserker, but Zanzetkuken is confident that he will be more than worth the effort.

The dwarves, highly impressed by the equipment gifted to them, are standing by for orders. The Squadron Hawks fly high above the ground, scanning the mountain range and surrounding areas for any notable happenings. With sunrise still several hours away, the Chosen One rests comfortably in his dwarven hold as the first day of the trial draws to a close.

Hisir Namedene

Training until the Sun returns again to its respective place in the morning sky, Hisir can feel that he is getting the hang of using his powers on objects other than his halberd; especially his knives. Though he'll likely still need more practice before it can be done reliably.

A couple of feet away, Shade is sound asleep. Still recovering from the scuffle he had with his master earlier.

Sir Havel the Unyielding

"We're here! We're here! Now put me down before I puke!"

After hours of steadfast running, Sir Havel and his companion finally arrive at their destination, which appears to be nothing more than a large lake out in the middle of nowhere (or at least a few miles away from any urban city areas). On the other side of the lake, the glow of a small fire can be seen, along with several individuals circled around it. Listening closely, it sounds almost like one of these individuals is giving some kind of speech. Unfortunately, the Chosen One is much too far away to make out what's being said.

The Moderator(s)

The Moderators are patted down and have any equipment confiscated before being shoved to the ground and having their hands restrained behind their backs. Black bags are placed over their heads, and they are escorted onto a landed helicopter.

After an unknown amount of time spent riding in the helicopter, they are Eventually pulled out and lead to an unknown location. By the time the black bags are finally taken off, each Moderator is in a small, separate room, restrained to a metal chair and facing a large black window...

Estimated time passed: 4 hours 25 minutes.

0:00 remain.

After some time away, the spectral figure returns to the small crowd of individuals still waiting within the aetheric fog.

"I'm happy to say that the first five Chosen Ones seem to be off to a splendid or at the very least not absolutely terrible start! They've only been participating in the trial for a single Earth day, but I can already tell that they're having the time of their lives. However, because it doesn't seem very fair to just continue on letting them have all the fun, I'll be sending a couple more of you to the planet so that you can get to work on pursuing your own endeavors. Pretty exciting, right?
For those of you undoubtedly wondering who specifically it is that's being given this special opportunity, I was thinking..."

Jorn Darkmane
"I don't know about you, but I've been sensing quite a lot of righteousness coming from this first group of Chosen Ones. And while there isn't necessarily anything wrong with that, I think that your presence on the planet will do an excellent job of keeping things a little more 'balanced out'."

"And..."

TorZon The EverShifting
"I don't actually remember ever inviting you here, and other than your name, I'm not entirely certain of exactly what or who it is you are. But since you seem to have come here by your own will, and have been patiently waiting around with everyone else this whole time, I'm assuming that you're interested in the truly magnificent opportunity that I'm offering. Now's your chance to show me what you can do, big mysterious blob thing."

Two more vials of strange shimmering fluid appear before the selected Chosen Ones. "Just as before, if you feel that you're ready embark on this trial, consume the contents of the vial in front of you. If not, pass it to any one of the individuals around you."

Drop the assumption that the measure if your own worth is what you do for others.

While you certainly shouldn't let yourself be taken advantage of, it could be argued that one of the only real reasons anyone has for existing is to contribute to the existence of others.

Thanks to this, I was vaguely reminded of a past fortress of mine.

I also support the idea of making it a community fortress.

A capybara was responsible for the death of my best hunter's dog in an old fort. Poor bastard nearly gave up on life after that.

The Moderator(s)

An intense light from one of the helicopters shines down on the duo. Within seconds, several ropes are dropped down from the helicopters, and almost a dozen soldiers descend to the ground with assault rifles at the ready. As the well-armed men make their way over, The Moderators are ordered to put their hands in the air.

Sir Havel the Unyielding

With the flames reduced to mere embers, and respects payed to the dead, Sir Havel asks the young man to reveal where the culprits of this misdeed have fled to.

"I don't know where they are now, but I know where they'll be headed..." The young man holds his gun tightly as he stares at the floor, not wanting to look back up at the tragic sight before him.
"...There's supposed to be a special ceremony tonight, for the new recruits. They said it was going to be hosted by one of the senior members...if we leave now, we might be able to make it before the ceremony ends..."
