"Hey, I don't like the way that lunatic up there is looking at that lump of metal. He seems crazier than I am. Let's move over a little bit for now. We don't want that thing falling on us."

Head to the southwest area of the third floor. Continue waiting for my pool to recharge.

1337
"Damn. Well, I can just keep waiting. Man, I love peacetime!"

Take a sip from one of Possibly's boozeberries once they grow. Continue lounging around. If some sick booze-hating bastard tries to attack us or our new party-plant, get them with Word.

Curse the time lords for altering the booze-filled past.

Roll To Dodge / Re: ROLL TO DODGE THE LAW/BATTLE FOR HELL

Tell Lucifer that the world is going to need him this Friday for the apocalypse, so he should head to the gym and let me take care of Hell for him a little longer.
Toss Yoink into the Nuclear Reactor that keeps Hell heated.

1339
Continue attacking the slime, this time by giving it an icy bearhug.

We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fighting - till the end -
We are the champions -
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions - of the world -

"We've got this now. We can finally just sit around and practice magic like the good old days."

Head to the third floor, southeast area, and say Words.

Roll To Dodge / Re: Fragile Times: A Story-Based RTD, OOC thread

Ah. I'm not sure if this is the place where I shouted at the GM in a Scottish accent or not, but don't worry yourself over us, etc.
It is :)
And I've got plenty of time to work on this now. I'm just waiting for Caellath

1342
"Yeah buddy! That planty bastard could've left us alone. But no, he wanted to fight, and we kicked his ass!"

High-five Possibly. Continue lounging unless one of us is attacked, in which case blast the attacker with Magic!

((GreatWyrmGold, you have to specify what stat you want to spend your point in.))

+1 Channeling

"Only a matter of time until the frostbite kills it now. Well, that extra power will help me with science, but I've gotta rest up to use it."

Lounge around again. If anyone tries to attack me or Possibly and is within single-word range, use Word.

"She's perfect! Look at those huge, round... buttons on the dress! Why, those mutants should make countless statues of her and her flawless clothing! But first, they'll need concrete."

Irotas will teach the mutants how to sift through the gravel for blendstone.

1345
"Ouch! That stings! Why you little..."

Throw a yellow snowball at the slime. That'll teach it to zap me.

Dsemend walked with the team calmly, slightly satisfied he hadn't been tripping on his own feet for the last minutes. He took out one of the branches and stared at it for some time before turning to Dodson.
"Mister, do you have the tools for crafting a bow and its string?"

If Dodson happens to have those, then craft a large longbow. Or at least the knife, to carve the branch into a bow shape and leaving the obtaining of material for a string for later.
(5)

Dodson looks at you and grins. "We don't have a string strong enough, but that sorcerer friend of yours found my old survival kit earlier today. There should be a knife in there. Just make sure that his damned bird doesn't take one of your fingers off when you try and grab it."
"Don't worry, I'll be careful."

You hold the kargarok's beak closed with one hand while digging through the pouch attached to its leg with the other, and fish out a long hunting knife in a leather sheath. After unsheathing it, you remove one of the sturdy logs from your back and begin to carve it, and you soon have a massive bow without a string. It measures seven feet from end to end, and fits perfectly in your large hands.

"You know what,  think this calls for a song.

She packed my bags last night, pre-flight
Zero hour, nine a.m.
And I'm gonna be high as a kite by then
I miss the Earth so much, I miss my wife
It's lonely out in space
On such a timeless flight
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time ‘til touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man, burning out his fuse up here alone
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time ‘til touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man, burning out his fuse up here alone
Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids
In fact it's cold as hell
And there's no one there to raise them if you did
And all this science, I don't understand
It's just my job five days a week
A rocket man, a rocket man
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time ‘til touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time

ROCKET MAN!"

"Yeah. ... What was I doing again?"

"Oh right, I was doing stuff. Hey big guy, uh, mr ... Desmend was it? Could I borrow one of those logs? One you're not using or something?"

Hogarth, after doing his best William Shatner impression, tries to lift the tree Desmend gives him (assuming he does) a la telekenetic weightlifing, to enable him to lift heavy stuff. Also he tries to remember what he was going to do to control his flight.
(5)

Dsemond hands you one of the heavier logs, and you concentrate on lifting it with your mind. It rises steadily off the ground, and it's difficult enough to move that there's no risk of sending it flying off into space by accident. You practice swinging it around, and soon, you find that you can carry it with almost no mental strain. You keep it floating next to you as you continue walking.

*Hogarth's Telekinesis has been improved

Theodore smiles wryly. Double or nothing. He leaned back towards her.
"Sorry ma'am. I still don't quite know if I believe this is real or not. Another one of those should do it though."[/b]
He then noted, with an odd mixture of joy and dismay, that his mind had cleared. He had no clue what had caused it, but he suspected it was either the girl or the magic. Well, after years of a near constant buzz, he was finally back on the wagon. That, of course, was the joy. The dismay was that he was clear headed enough to realize just how bad his line was.
Hope she likes her lines cheesy.
(2)

Alice laughs at your horrible line, and you take this as a sign to lean in for another kiss. As you close your eyes however, you stumble over a root and fall to the ground. Alice laughs out loud, and reaches down to help you to your feet. After pulling you up and helping you dust yourself off, she says "Maybe kissing while walking isn't the best idea out there." You see the logic behind this, and settle for holding hands... for now.

continue attempting to train the kargarok as we travel
(1)

As you walk, you try and train the great bird to come to you when you call it by holding up scraps of food whenever it flies too far away. The kargarok quickly grows ornery however, and knocks you over, eating the few crumbs of remaining food and savagely biting you several times before flying to perch on Hogarth's log. You call it repeatedly, but it only glares at you and hisses angrily.

Look at the woods and see if there are any ambushes placed.
(4) [this roll is for your action]
(1) [this is the encounter roll]

You keep an eye out for danger, and spot a large shape, roughly twenty feet long, charging through the woods towards the party. You takes aim with your musket and fire just as what appears to be a massive wolf bursts forth from the trees.

(5)v.(1)

The wolf tries to leap away from the shot, but slips and falls directly into the bullet's path. The round strikes the beast squarely in one of the front paws, shattering it beyond recognition.

(6)(1)v.(3-1)

The wolf picks itself up and looks for an easier target. Its eyes lock onto Dsemond, and it lets loose a savage howl before limping towards him with surprising speed. The half-oni tries to dodge out of the way, but trips to the ground, and the wolf chomps down on his left arm with an impressive amount of force and shakes it around. Dsemond grunts in pain, but his arm remains attached to his body. The wolf, however, cannot get the giant's arm out of its throat, and begins to choke.

Valinri is going to flee! Fling a globe of darkness behind himself, and run!
(3-1) [for darkness]
(3-1)v.(3) [for running]

You try to create a sphere of darkness between you and the man, but the sunlight is giving you double vision, and the globe appears too far to the right. You turn and flee, but you have to run rather slowly to avoid tripping over obstacles. The commander uses this to his advantage, and catches you by the back of your shirt.
"Where do you think you're going, otherworlder? We've spent weeks looking for that dragon, and you finally got it to reveal itself."
"I'm sorry! I didn't know..."
"There's no need to apologize for helping us out! The bounty on that beast's head was worth a small fortune. My men and I will have all the booze and babes we could ever want when we get back to Vilston!"
"But aren't you imperials supposed to kill otherworlders on sight?"
"Normally, yes. But you've got talent, and I've got something that I need. You see, with all of that money that I'll be getting, I'll be expected to have a gladiator to fight in the pits. And I'm not too fond of the idea of spending my hard-earned gold on some prisoner who can barely fight. So, how about we make a deal? You can fight for me in the arena, and I'll keep you clothed, fed, trained, and most importantly, I won't kill you."

"Damn. I never knew that my venomous looks could be quite so... venomous. Hey, Possibly, can you get that plant for me? We'll have plenty of time to get drunk later, but we've gotta survive that long first."

Lounge around. Use Word if I'm attacked, or if someone tries to steal my kill.

1348
fushalieal karenthar caoncarthel?

As soon as I find out the word for booze, I'm getting my cat drunk.
I believe that Possibly has given this one out as a freeby. Although if you want to guess it yourself, I'll give you a hint. It's got the word 'Urist' in it.

1349
Kumiko calmly sips her tea. "Thank you. They were down to their last copy of the letter when I got to the door, so I had to share it with a few people. There's a fairy, a girl with a straw hat, and a swordswoman, and I'll probably have to work with them now if I want to qualify for the job, so I guess that we'll be competing against you two for this. I bet that a fight is going to break out, so maybe we'll be able to have a danmaku battle against each other. If you're anywhere near as good at danmaku as you are at wrestling, then this'll be a lot of fun. Well, I should probably join up with my group now to introduce myself, so see you during the brawl."
Setting the teacup down on the ground in front of her, Kumiko walks over to her new team. "So I guess that you three are my new allies now. I'm incredibly sorry for running off like that earlier, but like I said, I promised those two that I'd have tea with them, and I don't like to leave friends waiting. Anyways, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Yamashita Kumiko, and I am the commander of the underground army. I'm on the surface for official military business, and being accepted for this job is a crucial part of my mission."
