"Hey, hey, I'm on YOUR side here! That was supposed to hit the villagers. And besides, from the sound of things, I'm not the only one who's blowing stuff up."

Leap away from the grenade, then explain to the guards why I am in the right.

Still mostly asleep, you roll yourself out of bed and over to your closet, managing to put on a black sleeveless tank top with a pawprint on the back, as well as a pair of black and red short shorts and a set of black thigh highs with red stripes near the top. You then fumble through your nightstand drawer, retrieving a razor-sharp scalpel that you picked up from the dumpsters outside the hospital last week, and your student ID, which has a picture of you from freshman year on it, as well as some basic information.

Name: Navi Alkovin
Gender: Male
Date of Enrollment: 08/26/2011

You tuck both the scalpel and the ID into the back pocket of your bookbag, and start heading upstairs to grab a bowl of cereal when you feel the ground shake beneath you. It's only a small quake, but living up in the northwest bit of New York state, the fact that there's an earthquake happening at all is a bit out of place. There would probably be something on the news about it if you were the type to pay for cable, but fortunately you still have your ways of keeping informed. You turn on an old radio at the top of the stairs, and are in the process of fiddling through the frequencies to find the news when there's a knock at your door.

"Oh, sorry, that's not for you. Well, it IS for you, but it's not for you to... You know what I mean."

Willard shoots the barrel.

Name: Hanorey Hoobles
Gender: Mefale
Appearance: Really huge fucking moobs. Is really serious and doesn't afraid of anything. Even Willard Walin. He has brown hair and a kick ass 20 foot long mustache.

I suppose that I should mention that this is intended to be at least semi-serious...

Forum Games and Roleplaying / (SG) Fissure: CRITICAL HIT
« on: April 13, 2014, 10:50:07 pm »
It's that much dreaded time of year again: The end of summer break and the beginning of the new school year. Not only that, but it's the beginning of your junior year in high school, which is by far the worst, from what you've heard. Still, maybe something will happen to make things more interesting... Nah, who are you kidding? It's not like this is some sort of plot-driven game or anything, right?

Spoiler: Character Sheet (click to show/hide)

Willard seals the lid onto the barrel before giving it a shove, sending it rolling towards the remaining villagers.

It's been pretty freeform so far, with rules being created as it goes along. Also, I'm definitely shrinking the map, because no sites want to host an image of 40.3 Gb. But I'll get it to you once it's scaled down.

248
I could 'zoom out' to a total of 17 million pixels total, but then each building would be a single pixel and you'd have to tell them apart by color. What I might be able to do though is zoom it to that amount and then have people focus on managing the nation as a whole instead of the individual villages. Still a lot of bookkeeping, but it's a start.

249
Sorry fellas, but this thing's just too darn big for me to update consistently. I'll happily give the map out to anybody who wants to give a shot at running it, but I will warn them in advance that the total map numbers over 4 BILLION pixels, and the settlement alone is a hefty 4.6 million, so it'll be a little bit of an undertaking.

"Whooo boy! Now that was one hell of a bang! Lucky thing it didn't set off my gunpowder stash when it happened. Speakin' of which, that gives me an idea..."

Willard springs to his feet and dives behind the bar, smashing anything that might produce a jagged edge and putting the shards into whatever sort of pot or container he can find, along with a fair amount of demolition powder.

251
"Hmmm? I hear something big chittering over there... Maybe it'll have a pair of mandibles that I can use!

Head to aisle 13.

252
Fire a shell into Sean's kneecap. Or head. So long as it stops him.

253
"Whoo, now that's an inspiring tune!"

Willard begins humming along to the marching tune from the jukebox.

Unload one barrel into the air again to try and spook the villagers off, and unload the other one into whatever one of the poor bastards stays behind.

254
Willabella spots Kyle as he walks into the store and follows him to the bakery.

"Hmmm... I'd have thought that you'd go straight to the deli instead of the bakery. Probably for the better though. Otherwise you'd eat all of the meat and we'd be stuck with casserole tonight."

255
((No need to edit my turn back in time. I forgot to post, so I'll take the fall.))

"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again."

Reload again.
