Balls, too.

You never say "ball" so it counts >:I

That was the definition I got when I Googled "Sexism definition".

I'm gonna take a break from posting in this topic, on this topic. I'm too stressed out now. :/

They lack the power component to be discrimination. They're totally sexism, though.

Discrimination:

The unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, esp. on the grounds of race, age, or sex.

Sexism:

Prejudice, stereotyping, or1 discrimination, typically2 against women, on the basis of sex.

1 Meaning including, but not limited to. It includes discrimination, but not only discrimination.

2 Again, meaning including, but not limited to. It means that sexism against men is possible.

Pseudo-edit: And yeah, Nadaka raises a point. There -is- institutional discrimination against men, such as judges favoring women in divorce cases even though men are just as good at raising children as women. Or discrimination against rape cases where the victim was a man.

Besides, what exactly ARE facts that morally against "sexism is wrong"?

Women are equal = Sexism, though not applicable in this case, is wrong. Nothing in this situation goes against the moral of sexism being wrong.

Women are treated inferior = This is sexism, still wrong.

Men are treated inferior = This is also sexism, still wrong.

There is no situation that I can think of that would go against the axiom of "sexism is wrong."

And if you think that men being treated inferior is somehow morally right, then I refer you to a) Two wrongs do not make a right, and b) You are a morally reprehensible person, and/or a troll, and I shall have to set you to ignore to prevent myself from going off on an infuriated tangent.

Pseudo-edit: What. Sexism can totally be against men. Have you never heard of a man-hating woman? Or a self-hating man? Saying "men are all pigs" or "Men are nothing but cheating liars" OR "Men only think with their dick." Those are all sexism, against men.

Come on, man. THINK for once in your god-damn life.

Damnit Max, why must you be so cute. ;_;

12637
Right, so, I'm never going to listen to anything you say.

Ever.

To only accept facts that back up your viewpoint is... Evil. Or at least morally reprehensible.

Well, you need to be attracted to someone to date them, usually. Or else you're just toying with them. Pretty cruel to do that.

Besides, it's not racist if they're willing to be friendly in all other respects with a, say, black girl, even if they aren't attracted. They're just... not attracted to them.

Because obviously if you have a dangly bit in your crotch you're irrevocably different and therefore must be labeled and treated differently. Same for if you have two globes of fat attached to your chest.

Social categorization, yay!

Little thingy just below your lip. Think Beatnik Beard and you'll see what a soul-patch is.

Yeah. You go to a gay hub, of pretty much any kind, and if you aren't a "cute little boy" or an adonis of manly muscle, you will be openly mocked and derided. Clear cut, you must fit this or you are worthless.

Needless to say, I don't fit "this".

12643
Yep, we're so disgusting, and unnatural, and immoral. But who cares, it's fun~

Back in my undergrad days, there was a Society group that referred to themselves as "The Gentleman's Club". These so called gentlemen used the club and the funding granted to it by the Students Union to engage in "manly" persuits like pipe smoking, ale drinking and watching degrading pornography, and staging events that acted as polar opposites to typical liberal student occasions. The members of this club were known to be dickheads (rude, arrogant, racist and homophobic - very british middle class) from across the spectrum of academic subjects (with a slight slant to the sciences) and most (if not all if my hazy memory is serving me well) were unhygenic, unhealthy and overweight, and often awkward in social circles which took them away from people similar to themselves. The beauty of the whole arrangement was that by Univerisity rules there had to be no barriers to membership. As a right old giggle, the LGBT societiy all joined and showed up to thier events. Witnessing an awkward spotty 19 year old creep sweat under the attentions of my good freind "gay gav" (self named by the way) was a sight to behold. Needless to say the Gentlemans club disbanded shortly afterwards. Freedom of expression at its best :).
Found it.

I had those kinds of things for a while.

I didn't recognized it for what they were, because I always thought Deja Vu was the "memory" immediately preceding events, so I thought, "But I remember this from a dream months ago! I must be the time whisperer..."
