That "servant no more" achievement is presumably achievable either by becoming a Satanist and regaining your scimitar, or by marrying four straight lustful women and looking the other way when one of them cheats on you.

You can't marry as a eunuch, period. You can't even force your own courtiers to marry you.

That said, it's way easier than it looks, precisely because of the Satanist stuff. You don't even need to use dark healing to remove the trait, although that's probably a good backup plan. All the Satanist features make it absurdly easy to, say, kidnap your emperor and then force him to join your cult. Since you'll outrank him, he'll automatically surrender in all wars to you. It should be trivial to take over the empire from within and get to 100 realm size (if he's not at it already).

Even if you didn't have Satanist stuff, it's probably not that hard anyway. You're 22, you have your duchy, and you're relatively close to holy war targets. It's just not going to be that hard barring the unlucky "died of natural causes" at age 50 stuff.

Turns out it has to be done in the character's lifetime:

Quote
# Starting as Mu’nis al-Muzaffar of Galilee in 867, become an Emperor and have at least 100 realm size.
A_SERVANT_NO_MORE = {
   possible = {
      is_ironman = yes
      character = 163134
   }

   happened = {
      character = 163134
      tier = EMPEROR
      realm_size = 100
   }
}

No point in removing eunuch or trying to get married or get concubines.
I hate when they word things poorly. They have other achievements that are written "Starting as [...]" that *don't* require you to do it in one lifetime, or that at least explicitly *say* in one lifetime. But here they use "Starting as," without a qualifier of the limit, and you need to code-dive to be sure. Annoying.

[not just because of this instance but it does showcase the sometimes sloppy articulation in other parts of Paradox's games.]

Got diagnosed with depression, so now I can start getting it treated. It's mild, so it's likely going to be easily sorted out, too.
Hehe, one would think one, wouldn't one...

Maybe it'll be sorted out in a couple weeks or months, but you shouldn't rely on that. It's very much possible that this is something that'll stay with you for a long time, like a stiff joint or a messed-up leg: Perfectly ignorable on good days, uncomfortable on bad ones, and generally something that won't go away, but can be lived with.

Don't build up possibly false expectations, is what I'm saying. I did that at one point, and it definitely didn't help me.
I thought he meant more in terms "Now that I have a diagnosis, I can get the medication and therapeutic practices that should help."

It's pretty much him just going "Oh haha, look at this hilarious mix-up we are experiencing, it is to laugh, let us commence a proper handshake soon!"

I've certainly done the same, exaggerated a funny face or body movement for comedic effect to cover a minor faux pas. "All is well, I am aware of the issue friend, and I trust we can agree that it is no big deal! But I am pantomiming this movement so as to assure you that I am aware of it."

Yoink is Australian.

Can't think of anything major there to cause him such anguish though. Just the Gay, and the constitutional crisis about politicians resigning in droves. Don't see he'd be too fussed over *those* though. Something else?

I looked into it; Materialists can only really get a Psi Expert by certain anomalies. I think by the scientist being paranoid, one anomoly will make him Maniacal and then Psi Expert.

Nope. You can grab it regardless, and you can get the Psychic tech [though it's tough]

They stopped making it Impossible to get psychic as materialist, or robots/synths as spiritualist.

You should be fine, though a bit delayed. I think Maniacal/Genius get bonuses to chances of getting psy tech, as well as an enclave scientist, set on Social tech obviously.

E: Looked it up, and I'm half right. Maniacal is a full x5 modifier ((non-)spiritualism is only an x0.5 modifier, fan-spir is another x2 on top) BUT you need a Psionics Expert if you want to get it while retaining materialism. Not quite sure how to get one of those.

North Korea has fired artillery into South Korea before. Pre-meditated like, even.

Granted, that wasn't on the DMZ; but I think they're pretty similar in scope, ones mitigated by location, the other is mitigated by scale and pre-thought.

Other way around, I think. There may have been some sort of incident with 3DS carts that lead to the Switch carts being coated in bitterant, but people were licking them specifically because they found out about the bitterant. I guess it's like the Cinnamon challenge? Kids these days.
What? No. It's for kids. Like, under 4 years old. They'll put anything in their mouths.

Is... Is that not obvious? It's Nintendo, they're really concerned about being kid friendly, and it's a pretty smart move to solve the problem of both choking hazard and ruined cartridges due to the same proclivity.

Like, even if they're not using it, they might get the cupboard they're kept in open or something. :v

Aye, if you loot a province as a tribal, it's basically a guarantee'd rebellion. But the flag *should* fire after winning or losing the rebellion (though losing makes it moot because you lose the province and it stops being tribal, soooo) and if it doesn't that'd be a bug.

Note: It doesn't reduce it all the way to 0. It's more like -25% to the +33% the looting causes, though the exact numbers elude me. Even if it's working as designed, you'd want your marshall surpressing revolts in that province. (I know, right? An actual use for that ability? Who'da thunk it?)

Testosterone.
Yeah, but you said "She" and "they."

T's usually for trans men and masculine folk...?
Exactly, that's why it's a problem.

I don't feel like explaining more, I don't know if she'd be comfortable with me sharing it with people she doesn't know.

...also, I just kinda default to they by habit, that was not intentional. Should be she.
Ah, I think I understand, I have a few friends that are similar.

Also: ah, so do I :P It's a decent enough habit, no harm I think. Very few people take issue with they.
