When you "Oversleep", your brain will be groggy and sore. It's annoying, but that's how it works. Drink some water, go outside and take a piss in the snow, do some exercises, then go back to bed.

I pick off a chunk of super cheese and throw it at the Minotaur's head, with the aim of braining it. Also, before throwing, look to see if the minotaur has a usable weapon.
