You mean draltha ponies. Gorlaks are small, have two grasping tusks and do various fiddly jobs that require finesse. Oddly enough, Dralthas are the largest non-noble cast.
I cooked a test world for dream valley ponies, checking legends I have a Smooze nicknamed "the accidental fog" whose initial lair was "wandermurk, the messianic sewers." forgot to assign spheres to the things, so sheer luck I got something vaugely appropriate.
Especially horse meat glazed with unicorn butter, if my current cave pony fort is anything to go by.
Don't be scared, I've only just converted 100% dorf into pony form, it's beautiful I tell you, BEAUTIFUL!
Though I see they might still need some tinkering, they arn't perfect yet.
But at least I'm playing them as I'm writing this, they work, they actually work!!
It already exists? Is it in the mod? I've called mine "Fortress Ponies".
Basically a pony with all the attributes and stuff of a dwarf.
It seems you can't just dump half of a pony creature and half of a dwarf creature together and not crash world generation.

I'll put all the relevant files in a zip and put it on the file depot. Would you mind copying and pasting your errorlog.txt into the thread/pming it to me?
Question: Is all you need to run a new creature/civilization the files "body_...", "creature_..." and "entity_..." or am I missing something?
K thank yall for the help ill look at the wiki and modder page and tell if I make any thing other than fire breathing fluffy wambler.(my new guard dogs)
Tested: Removes healing. How strange, I could have sworn that Deons ilithalids healed at crazy-fast rates. Would making it HEALING_RATE:0 make it unable to heal at all?I don't know. Most likely.
A creature got cut on the arm and it didn't heal by the time a gash on a human did (15 days) in the Arena.

[SELECT_TISSUE_LAYER:ALL]
[TL_HEALING_RATE:1]
You could redefine its tissues to remove scaring (I think scaring impacts thickness, especially for what were really deep cuts). The tissues which currently have scarring are:
skin, fat, muscle, scale, eye, nerve, brain, lung, heart, liver, gut, stomach, pancreas, spleen, kidney, and chitin.
For the hydra you wouldn't need to redefine chitin or skin as the hydra has none, or the nerves as they won't heal regardless (though I think the spinal cord has nerve tissue which may be able to regenerate...hmmm...).
Bloodloss is determined by the VASCULAR tag (higher is more), but if you remove its blood it will never bleed and the only way to kill it would be to kill its heads.
If you want much tougher hydras you could remove their blood and the [HAS_NERVES] token. HAS_NERVES makes it possible to make it unable to stand if you can sever the motor nerves in its leg(s), unable to grip with its hand by dicing them in the arms, etc. Removing these gives you a creature you can't disable, barring dismemberment, that can only be killed by ending its heads.
Would I be correct in stating that such a creature would be able to ignore the worst effects of slashing attacks well?
