You mean draltha ponies. Gorlaks are small, have two grasping tusks and do various fiddly jobs that require finesse. Oddly enough, Dralthas are the largest non-noble cast.

"slaps self" And this is why I dont try to think as my ponies as differing castes, because of mix-ups like this! My Legendary miner unicorn named "Rarity" laughs at you petty caste system! Muhahaahaha!

I cooked a test world for dream valley ponies, checking legends I have a Smooze nicknamed "the accidental fog" whose initial lair was "wandermurk, the messianic sewers."  forgot to assign spheres to the things, so sheer luck I got something vaugely appropriate.

Huh. Nice. So, how exactly did you handle the Shuggoth Smooze, anyway? Is it a big blob with a smashing attack, or did you find a way to somehow make the beasti flat?

Also, do Dream vally ponies have a bunch of extra graspers ( From what little I have seen, they where on the very far end of the antromorphic side, at least with megan around.)?

Especially horse meat glazed with unicorn butter, if my current cave pony fort is anything to go by.

"It's magically delicious!"

Would a horse be like, the pony equivulent of a chimp? And a Camel the local Gorilla one? Just wanting to know if my currant zebras are eating the local flavor of bushmeat.

Don't be scared, I've only just converted 100% dorf into pony form, it's beautiful I tell you, BEAUTIFUL!

Though I see they might still need some tinkering, they arn't perfect yet.

But at least I'm playing them as I'm writing this, they work, they actually work!!

Oh, postitpostitpostit!

Also, the secondary modding mass is getting rather large. We have 'nid ponies, wasteland ponies, the now-intergrated lion ponies, dinosaur ponies, and eventualy we will be getting dream and flutters as well, along with Fort ponies. We need a list on the front page, Nido. ;D

It already exists? Is it in the mod? I've called mine "Fortress Ponies".

Its a caste in the Cave civ. Has tusks, a drinking problem, and bonuses to varying fields associated with the earth, such as mineing. Big boys, too. Not realy "dwarf" ponies, just a pony with a vaugly similer skill-set.

It seems you can't just dump half of a pony creature and half of a dwarf creature together and not crash world generation.

... I wonder what that foul abomination would look like? Oh wait, I know! Its called a Draconequine. :D

That, or some freakish pony-centaur. I think we need Goat-dwarf hybrids.

On is hairy, eats everything in sight, and is rather stupid, while the other makes the perfect pets.

I'll put all the relevant files in a zip and put it on the file depot. Would you mind copying and pasting your errorlog.txt into the thread/pming it to me?

Its not even a errorlog: the game crashes when you introduce them!

Dsarker, would you mind looking at the Dinos again? There seems to be something wrong with the new bodies that will cause Arena to crash. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

How strange, I could have sworn that Deons ilithalids healed at crazy-fast rates.  Would making it HEALING_RATE:0 make it unable to heal at all?
I don't know. Most likely.
Tested: Removes healing.
A creature got cut on the arm and it didn't heal by the time a gash on a human did (15 days) in the Arena.

Huh. Oh well, to the arena to test out the new tissues. 8)

You could redefine its tissues to remove scaring (I think scaring impacts thickness, especially for what were really deep cuts). The tissues which currently have scarring are:
skin, fat, muscle, scale, eye, nerve, brain, lung, heart, liver, gut, stomach, pancreas, spleen, kidney, and chitin.
For the hydra you wouldn't need to redefine chitin or skin as the hydra has none, or the nerves as they won't heal regardless (though I think the spinal cord has nerve tissue which may be able to regenerate...hmmm...).
Bloodloss is determined by the VASCULAR tag (higher is more), but if you remove its blood it will never bleed and the only way to kill it would be to kill its heads.

Would the lack of scarring effect the rate of healing at all?

Quote
If you want much tougher hydras you could remove their blood and the [HAS_NERVES] token. HAS_NERVES makes it possible to make it unable to stand if you can sever the motor nerves in its leg(s), unable to grip with its hand by dicing them in the arms, etc. Removing these gives you a creature you can't disable, barring dismemberment, that can only be killed by ending its heads.

Ohh, this looks interesting. 8)  Would I be correct in stating that such a creature would be able to ignore the worst effects of slashing attacks well?

Hi. I am attempting to make Hydras a little deadlier, in which I wish for them to heal at breakneck pace. So I have a few questions on the matter:

Will I have to create new tissue for it to heal at a new speed, or is there a flat modifer one could add to the creatures raws (HEAL SPEED:101), or am I missing something?

Is scaring nessasary? Is it needed to prevent blood loss, or can it be removed to give the feeling of regeneration to the hydra? It might make it utterly impossible to beat without actualy crushing it, but whatever.

Indeed, you have quite the deady assortment of beasts. Most of my titans give off weak dusts or something, not stuff that activly rotted you!

Dsarker, your dinos are breaking arena mode for me. It may have something to do with the updated body you put up. Could you actualy post the file on the archive to see if its my error and not the raws?
