Only one is alive, tho. Might check up on him. Also, one was a night creature, which means that if only the living kid was a werecreature you would have a badass Addams family-flavored royal family.

Also, see if any of the kids are animated undead or something. :P

A rather shify looking man, skinny and rather pale, looks at the leader and says

Oi, baws. I would rather we set up a shelter than stand around here and do nuti'n. If we stand around here like a cu'pla idiots, were dead meat. Literaly.

(Make me a Berserker, preferably a miner. If there are none of that caste around, any will due. Preferably, the guy will end up in the military after a good year or two digging around.)

"In the late autumn of 208, Nomar cursed the reptile man Stroso Archbold the Hide of Deer to assume the form of a gecko-like monster every full moon in Spunshovel."

So the lizard dude is cursed to become a lizard dude every full moon.

Interestingly enough, Nomar Minecaves was most often depicted as a female draltha associated with caverns.

Well, that reptile man apparently made a draltha PO'ed, and is now forced to sell car insurance for the rest of his immortal life.

Well, I like the drakes so far, in any case. I mean, yes, they are powerful, but is not like they can solo a elephant or anything.

A few ideas for further expansion:

River Drakes are kind of like a smaller, meaner whiptail. Has a nastie little breath-weapon that causes suffacation if it hits the bloodstream. Large, almost swarm-like packs.

Rage Drakes are like meaner, harder-to-fight wolves, and come in two flavors: a small-ish one with a mild toxic bite and a rarer, bear-sized one without the nasty bite attack.

Sandstorm Drakes are bit like a classical wyvern, with a tail with a nice, sharp blade at the end with or without a deadly nerotoxin. They have wings but cannot fly, and I would think they use them to drag themselves across the desert like a grounded bat would. They behave like vultures do currantly, but not like that realy matters when you end up in a evil desert and it keeps reanimating itself.  :P

Deep Drakes are the degenrate kin to the Cave Dragons. No upper limbs, a nice inherent Bite skill, and functinal wings, and you have the natural hunter of giant bats (and ignorant dwarves). Goblins would probably get a chance to ride these guys.

I actualy had a nice little fort completly self-contained in its own little bubble, with the surface sealed off, the military builded up, and with 70+ dwarves with there own little rooms. Than came the alert that one of the old cows had a infection and died. There were no survivers.

For Me, They Retire.
Literally.
I always have a section of My Fort for Retirees. They have their own Houses, Dining Hall, Graveyard, and Temple. It makes it feel, through My Eyes, like Im rewarding them. But, also segregating them.
Its a two sided blade, and it cuts both ways.

... You scare me.

I don't have injured vets, they all die in battle.
Well, just dont ask Me what happens if They have Kids.
Then Ill scare You.

.... They live with the seniors for the rest of there lives, doomed to see all there loved ones die before themselves.?

Huh, I like them. Nice work, like using the clubtails as the main default war pet right now.

This is totally a party pad!

It needs some multicolor gem windows, a waterfall, and an expansive dining room with statues in it.

The dwarves:

"Well, its filled with dead things, useless objects, and already has a undead problem. God, it feels like home already! Do I have to pay to go inside, or what?"

Im probably wrong but I thought that if alicorns were secret base, their would be only a few in the entire world.

Even in worlds where they do even spread around quickly, there will still be quite a few. A lot more than the average amount I see in a civs legends.

Awsome so far.

Also, there are "wild" werewolves, at the very least, so having some sort of wild vampire sounds sound to me.

Earth ponies could get, I dont know, a boost to all there physical things in general. They might get less tired easly, have less nerves, slightly improved healing rate (with a bigger increase to there bones, considering that big Mac could heal something that would take a normal eqine out of work forever).

Also, about alicorns being made vi secrets: Thing is, with such creatures with powers granted by the gods showing up with a rate of two to three per fort, thats more alicorns than I get normaly! Rather, I would have the Dromidians replaced with genaric discorded ponies and have there castes become things that the gods can curse you into becoming in world gen. Fits things like the Keshis a lot better, I would think.

Just leave the vegetarianism in the hands of the players or remove the butcher/hunting/fishing job....

Elves do not have those jobs, they do fine... but yea, you can import meat from OTHER civs...

The whole immortality thing helps too.
