Artemis' heart darkened in the inside, which was suprising considering how dark it was already.
They laughed at him. They always laughed at him. Ever since Zechariah stole his damn powers, he was nothing but the butt of everyone's jokes. He was a god once before. Now he was just a king on the run from his own kingdom. Viva la vida, he guessed. It didn't matter if he died here or if he died in his sleep. Not even Satan would take a glance at Artemis, that's how damned he was already. Thousands of souls cried for his blood on the blade of God. All he had now was himself. And even that, he was losing.

Calm girl. Don't be in such a rush to die.

Artemis laughed for effect, his voice echoing down the tunnel. "Isn't that what we came for, though?"

It was what he had come for, anyways. Whether by allies or enemies or nature he would fall. He just knew it.

Just then, Sycamore spied Artemis disappear into the narrow tunnel, weapon at the ready. After that little accident the boy strutted into earlier, he sure seemed eager to walk into another potential hazard.

"See anything in there, kid?"

Begin retrieving my equipment. Follow Artemis.

"If you mean darkness, darkness, and more darkness, like I've seen my whole life, then yes."

Bethany sprang forward.
"We're not going to get anywhere milling about the entrance, waiting for someone to sacrifice themselves.
Action: Scout forward! Dont engage any danger if I find some-come back to warn my comrades.

"Hey! I'm not just gonna sit here!"
Advance into the darkness. Check the shadows for anything dangerous.

So we have an athletic one, Zechariah mused. That would be good, then. It was better than the last set of people already. At least we get a strong start now. He played with the dice on his necklace, which reminded him of the fragility and random nature of the universe. Well, the multiverse, really. But the multiverse could adapt. The universe, not so much.

((Wait, can I change my obsession quickly since the game barely started? Just realized something better would fit the character of Zechariah: Glass. Accordingly, switch out my flask for two glass dice on a necklace.))

Zechariah approached the others and viewed them all. Not a bad bunch, but he's seen better people. He waited for one of them to speak or move.

NOTE: I've updated it with a small blood system too. Heavy bleeding constitutes -15 blood per turn, bleeding is -5 blood, and light bleeding is -2 blood. The amount of turns left for bleeding counts for the next turns. "Instant" bleeds are ones that happen this turn only, which is lucky.
Harry seems to have gotten the bad end of the RTD :D
EXTRA NOTE: Being pierced with weapons will also make you have a light bleed indefinitely until that weapon is taken out, to which you will have an instant special bleed (-3 blood).
