DF Modding / Civilization Ramdomly Turning Hostile

I know I've seen this question asked on here before, but I can't locate anything on it.
I'm playing as a creature I've taken from another mod, everything is working fine and the errolog has no entries. But as I'm playing for a bit, suddenly the entire civilization turns against me. My companions all announce their names, "prepare to die!" and whatnot, random people in towns automatically rush my individual character but don't attack one-another. I've tried multiple worlds and different characters from this specific entity, but it keeps leading to the same result. I've removed the [EVIL] and [SAVAGE] tags from their creature file, but to no avail. What the hell could possible be causing this?

DF Modding / Having Subterranean Creatures On The Surface

Am I okay if I just add the [BIOME:ANY_LAND] to a subterranean creature, whilst still retaining the [BIOME:SUBTERRANEAN_CHASM] and the like? Or do I need to remove the subterranean tags as well? Will having both tags allow the creatures to spawn both underground AND above-ground?

What would be the most odd, out of place, most unique thing you have ever encountered in adventure mode? I'm talking strange creatures, weird histories, odd natural land-shapes, off-kilter relationships, silly bugs, etc.
I don't think I've played long enough to have encountered anything truly out of place but it is always odd to come across a town that's completely empty save a deity in the local stronghold.

DF Modding / Two Questions

Alright, so I'm in the process of adding a bunch of stuff into Dwarf Fortress and I've run into two little problems.

First: I've put in a large variety of medieval helms for dusk elves and keepers (modding Genesis), and I added in Corinthian helms for goblins; however, I just found a bunch of dusk elves who were wearing Corinthian helms. entity-dusk makes absolutely no mention of Corinthian helms, I've ONLY added them for goblins. I've triple checked and no other helm is mistakenly named Corinthian helm but tagged something else. What could be the problem here? Perhaps goblins exported these helms to this particular civ during world gen? I have no clue.


Second: Sylvan elves ONLY use wooden weapons/shields/armour. This is very silly when I see gladius and loricae segmentata made from wood. I've tried a couple different things (removing the wood_armour or whatever tag from the entity file) but it makes no difference and I can't for the life of me find any references to wood anywhere in any files having to do with sylvan elves. What the hell can I do to get them to use metal armour and weapons?

DF Adventure Mode Discussion / Saving Those Combat Logs

Anyone else save the combat logs of particularly interesting fights? Maybe you and your warband were ambushed by lizardfolks in the middle of the jungle? Perhaps you had a massive dual with a legendary creature? I enjoy saving my combat logs, giving them titles (Battle of ...etc), maybe including some flavour text (the date and weather conditions as well as terrain time), just for a good read when I'm bored. I suppose this could be done with Fortress mode as well, but it would be too littered with "Urist McDwarf cancelled job, interrupted by goblin shaman!"

DF Modding / A Question about Modding Containers

Hello, I come to you today because I am attempting to mod in a scabbard or a sheath for a sword. My problem is, I cannot find the backpacks/bags/chest/any container in the raw files. Where should I be looking to mod these things, or are they hardcoded? Secondly (and not a big deal), if I am able to add in scabbards or sheathes, will I be able to specifically make them only able to contain a sword/etc ?
