I had to look up what a kaiju is (for those wondering, it pretty much means "strange beast" in Japanese), but that's an interesting idea. I myself am interested in non-vanilla creature mods, so it may appeal to me. :3
...Ah, I almost forgot the whole reason I made this thread.

Here's what my mod thread would look like, minus text-formatting (I'm only posting it like this because I already had the format for the O.P. figured out by the time this ocurred to me):
Project Gamma
Introduction
Hello! This page is for an upcoming mod I call Project Gamma. What is it, you ask? Details are posted below, so have a look! Also, keep in mind that helping with organization in the O.P., as well as anything marked by an asterisk ( * ), is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Version Archive and Download
(No release yet. Check back later!)
A guide to version numbers: The versions listed above will be in the format "X.Y.Z".
- X: Can be either 0 or 1. 0 means "expect new content before the final release". 1 means "no new content before the final release".
- Y: Starts at 0 and ticks up for each content update. Resets when X becomes 1.
- Z: Starts at 0 and ticks up for each bugfix/minor update. Resets whenever X or Y changes.
Disclaimer
The gamma are based on the Aurum from Kid Icarus: Uprising and their ability to copy creatures. Whether they're a loose reference or a blatant ripoff is up to you.
New Content Added
This mod adds a new group of creature species: the gamma. Again, read more for full details.
Background *
Not much is known about the mysterious gamma, but this is what we've currently discovered:
- They are made from a mysterious rare metal called gammanite that is found beneath the earth. However, mining any found gammanite and attempting to mold a creature from it does nothing, so the origin of their sentience is unknown.
- There isn't a single known gamma species that isn't in some way based off an already existing biotic creature. However, no gamma is a direct copy; they will always add parts to a creature to make it more effective at certain tasks.
- No two body parts of a gamma need to touch to be connected. For example, the lower leg of a gamma dog will appear to be separated from the foot and upper leg, but it will still function as though it was connected and will be bound to its adjacent parts.
- They are extremely hostile and will attack any creature on sight. In fact, what differs gamma from their biotic counterparts most is their weaponry. Attempts to tame a gamma are often fruitless, but if successful can prove to have great reward.
- A gamma leaves no corpse behind upon dying. Instead, an item made of gammanite appears where it perished.

What You Can Help With
In cased you missed it, here's a list of things you can help with as of now:
- Adding background to the gamma to give them more substance other than "AAAH ALIENZ".
- Helping list the first few creatures the gamma should copy.
- Helping with creature raws.
- Helping with technical stuff regarding gammanite (NEEDS to happen before the rest of the mod can be made!).
I know, I thought way too far ahead. XD
