I've been trying to puzzle out a way for Jorn to travel. Something about passing through a hellish world.

And not getting eaten...

Use your magic to grow demon wings and fly!

Or compress a section of space between two points, just large enough for yourself, meaning travel around the world is pretty damn fast.

"'Bout time you guys showed up!" The God-King exclaims as he abruptly steps out from the surrounding wilderness to join his friends on the path, carrying several shopping bags of sundry knickknacks and wearing a novelty 'What happens in Wonderland stays in Wonderland' T-shirt. "You are not going to believe some the awesome things they have in the gift shops here!"

"Did you see her? Or a Vorpal Blade?"

The Moderator(s)

Other-Moderator

"Much better."

"Time to kick ass"

Screw that Asari bitch. She thinks she can walk all over me? That she can do whatever she wants? Bring it.

the Phantom, the big black reverse-swept winged craft the Moderator used as his cool ship, began it's take off from the secret Moderator hideout. It's blue glow on the underside, a byproduct of the XCOM hybrid ion pulse engines, carried it up with the grace and deadliness of a bird of prey. After it cleared the hidden hole, it's main engines prepared to fire. With a single command, it set out.

"Image Enhancement: Engaged. Group Fire: Engaged." The main computer of the craft spoke up. with a single flick, the weapons safeties were off.

It was go time.

"Targeting. Enemy Craft detected. Enemy power-up detected." Looks like they were expecting this. Smart move.

Several gunships and fighters, small compared to the large Phantom, appeared out of landing pads and hidden hangars.

The phantom ducked and weaved in their fire, the parts that hit deflected by the Ferro-Fibrous armor. His return fire was able to bypass their shields, and the lasers tore their fighters apart.

He made a beeline for the cargo freighter, mass accelerator fire pinging off the black craft's armor.

"got you."

The XCOM Fusion Lance fired right at the freighter's midsection, and it had no chance of missing at all. The beam penetrated it, incinerated anything in it's way, and destabilized the volatile substances aboard. As the Lance's projectile shot out the other side before dispersing, the entire craft detonated in an impressive display, the Element Zero adding a cyan tinge to the explosion. All in all, rather impressive. The craft pursuing him managed to get an unguided missile in, and take out a single engine.

"Fuck."

After some maneuvering and mopping up, he returned and phased back to the base. He celebrated by... Repairing the engine. Again. He should Really make that AMS shoot down unguided missiles too... Oh well...

"Most impressive explosion I have seen in a while."

Note to self:

In Slaves to DZA: Chapter II, remember to start all participants off with jetpacks.

And laser guns

I wonder what happened to the old man who I robbed...okay so all I stole was a map, but still. I don't want to have police shooting at me.

Son, if we do this right, the whole CIA Black Division will be onto us

Zanzetkuken warps into the area, walking backwards, looking confused at the point he appeared from before turning around and saying, "When did Black Maple get a cross-planar warp interference module?  I was just sent to their main base, before managing to planeswalk to Dominaria before coming here."

"Probably nabbed it from other-me, or the Canadian Moderator after they traced his shit and took it"

What do you do?

Thanks for the choice.

Jokes. Jokes.

Send in Military to secure the area. Start working on prefabs, and after the area is secure on the earthlike planet, send 'em down, and begin colonization.

Oh, she ran
                                            and run
                      and rin
and ren like a little hen
             about the Jabberwock she cried,
          DIE, DIE, DIE!
She hacked at it woth fire and glick,

                                                                                   she bumblesplurched around the Nitch
but as you see it is the case that she was tapped upon a vase
beyond the reaches of Clammaste in the Nether Gargle she fell
Pellmell, pellmell
Upon the widelark's nest she fell.
The Jabberwock, it found her fast
And bound her to a fizhy mast
and took her to it's band of crat
In The Land Of CRoM.

I hear it's quite difficult to get there - excepting myself, of course. Now, which way to go, you ask? Well, that'll be 38 points NorthDinkle, with a dash of pepper. Or, if you want to know by mundane means, thataway.
He points off in a seemingly random direction, though on closer inspection a glimmering light flickers through the trees.

And the Red Queen, well ... hehehe ... I suppose you'll be encountering her soon enough. With that, he climbs atop a tree branch and swings around it by his front paws, whirling around before dispersing into a mist.

((What in the hell did I just write. I'll be asleep for the next several hours, so do whatever, I suppose.))

"What first. Save the chick or go loud on some baddies?"

After a couple of minutes of uncomfortable silence, there is an unsettling shriek from somewhere in the distance, followed closely by a bestial roar and the sound of crashing. The sounds rapidly draw nearer, the unknown first thing screeching for it's life, and the second thing snarling, with great crunches following close behind. Soon the sounds reach the edge of the path and the boggart burst out of the foliage, screeching in horror. It scampers towards Jorn, and leaps toward him before being intercoeted by a blurred shape. It flits from one side of the path to the other, taking the boggart with it in a sudden silence. This is soon broken by the sound of crunching, which stops as the Cheshire Cat saunters out of the brush, licking it's lips.
My, but he was a delightful companion. I'd so like to meet him again, he meaws, looking at Jorn.

But I suppose I must answer whatever query you come to me with or I'll never hear the end of it.
What do you want?

"One, which way did she go, and two, where is the Red Queen's little hideaway? I got some..."

He takes a grenade out, and lightly tosses it up and down.

"Special Deliveries."

Any objections for skipping?

Nope.avi

236
I sigh.

"Seriously?"

I happen to be right behind the Cat, drinking my brew.

"He is the damn Cheshire Cat. Of course he'll seriously pull this..."

237
Really? All right, I think I can be the Cheshire Cat, but you'll have to start talking to me first :P

"You Cheshire Cat. Tryin' to sneak up on me while I still have my Enhanced Imaging helmet on?"

The Moderator was donning some light armor, and he was armed with his laser rifle, from the newer XCOM unit.

238
No, I just assumed that you had more to post-say.
...
Posting something in the next several hours.

BTW you can be storyteller now...
