BTW, can anyone think of a way to dwarf-ify/weaponise the stuffing-grinder thing from those Wuggle Pets ad? It seems like something Pinkamena would use.
You could either:

A) Pump wuggle pets full of flesh
B) Pump people full of cotton

Someone should tell this to Ask Pinkamena  :P

I'm guessing you can't build a workshop that could add or subtract materials from a LIVING creature's body?

You can make any tissue on a creature shearable and harvest blood or bone from them instead of hair. I'm not sure exactly how to do it though, only that it has been done.
Sound like cupcakes all over again.

Would be cool for an evil civ.

I'm guessing this does not actually do any harm to the creature's being harvested?

The rainbow factory looks pretty awesome though, I've only checked the raws so far, those mega-beasts seem pretty sweet.

You could try the "WorkshopDraw" program for windows.

I'm not too familiar with it myself, but I'll see if I can put something together.

EDIT: What exactly are you looking for? A small mill that grinds ponies into a powder? Or a big full on automated slaughter house?

EDIT: This something you fancy? (You should be able to copy paste this into "WorkshopDraw" to take a look at it.)
PS: I forgot to add construction stages for these, they only have a final stage. Let me know if you like one of them so I can make all it's stages.

You could also add a pony slave race, basically pony with the intelligence tag removed to act as lifestock/slaves, you would be able to butcher them then right? Perhaps even make them trainable like wardogs and use them as living shields.

And perhaps add that rainbow stuff to them as well.

EDIT: Found some interesting tags for this idea.

[GRAZER] = they got to eat something right?
[TRAINABLE] = makes them trainable both normal and for war. Why fight yourself if you have slaves?
[WAGON_PULLER] = makes them pull your stuff for merchants.
[PACK_ANIMAL = makes them pull your stuff for merchants.
[TRADE_CAPACITY] = sets their weight limit (I think.)
[COOKABLE_LIVE] = for you sick folks who just have to resort to cannibalism.
[PET] = duh
[COMMON_DOMESTIC] = again duh
[MILKABLE] = Actually makes sense for ponies, you are the same species after all. Besides, milk is good for you.
[FREQUENCY] = What's this? Escaped slaves?!
[MEANDERER] = Not sure if this is useful, makes them walk about randomly.
[ADOPTS_OWNER] = Who wouldn't want their own personal slave?

Those are some fun things. Don't forget about [PETVALUE],[MULTIPLY_VALUE].

Here's an idea, an undead pony civ.

Zombie pony, Ghostly pegasus, Skeleton unicorn, Vampire alicorn.

Why didn't anyone think of this before? They fit perfectly!

EDIT: Got another one.

A clockwork pony civ. that functions like an Ant-civ.. The ponies are the small workers, the pegasi are the large soldiers, the unicorns are the attandants (male-only) to the queen alicorn (female-only).

I have no idea if armor even works on them.

Their body proportions are off from dwarf even though their size is the same so there could be some severe problems with that.

Fortress ponies are definably not meant to be in Nido's mod (they are far to tiny as they are the same size as dwarfs) but you may have them if you want.

I'll try to post them though am not sure how.

PS: I'm just a dolt with apparently to much time, all credit goes to the makers of the game and nido. It's a freaking miracle this thing doesn't kill itself.

Don't be scared, I've only just converted 100% dorf into pony form, it's beautiful I tell you, BEAUTIFUL!

Though I see they might still need some tinkering, they arn't perfect yet.

But at least I'm playing them as I'm writing this, they work, they actually work!!

For Nidokoenig, I've noticed something in the "body_pony.txt" file.

Under the tag [BODY:PONY_MOUTH] you have a [BP:MOUTHL:mouth:STP] tag.

Notice the "MOUTHL" part, it has an "L" in it that I don't understand, is this a spelling mistake or does it serve a purpose?

I can't find anything on it in the wiki which lists only the [MOUTH] tag with no information at all.
