There a quiet anger to Clair words that seeps in "'Of course, I'll make it to your birthday, sweetie.' 'I'll will get the bullies off you, mark my words.' 'I'll pick you up in 10 min, honey.'." she take a deep breath "Sorry, don't know why I'm vent to you of all people. Maybe I hope...never mind."
She give a somewhat forced smile "I don't know, a moving disaster zone that look harmless, I think it petty on the nose."
