Apparently, they had 7 pregnant women on set so that they could quickly film the Helen Mirren birthing scene as soon as one of them went into labour.

Man, what a great film.

Too bad everything I see reminds me of vaginas and torture now, though.

If they want breathing space, it makes more sense to divide Storm of Swords into two seasons than Clash of Kings.

It's probably false, since GRRM livejournal'd about his progress writing the battle scene at the end of CoK, referencing it as "Episode 9 of Season 2".

No, the threat of bombing Seoul makes an invasion of the north impossible.

It's like challenging a leper to a wrestling match. You're going to win, short term.

The thing is, GRRM has never been the best with putting endings into this series. Well, he's ended a number of people, but I mean in the storytelling sense. Unfortunately, this has only gotten even more cliffhanger-y in the latest books. It's one of his weaknesses as a writer. We all have them. Unfortunately, I'm already hooked, and will keep following the series.

Fix'd.

How does killing south korean civilians and destroying a bunch of buildings damage the US and South Korean militaries?

This isn't an RTS, Mainiac. Flatenning a nation's major city actually does do incredible damage to it. You might as well ask what damage sinking Manhatten will do to the US Army.

It ended with a badass chick running out of a fire with breast-feeding dragons strapped to her. Probably the best ending ASIF will ever see.

I had this problem, too. Some asshole wrote a hefty five volume tome filled with spoilers for the show.

Discerning gamers are hardcore about playing interactive movies, as evidenced by their love of titles like Heavy Rain and LA Noire.

Please don't start another cycle of "Oooh, this is so mediocre, people who like it are mediocre". A lot of people who post in the thread like playing the game, and they do not appreciate being called zombies.

Incidentally, I don't play Skyrim for 4 days at a time. I play it for an hour or two on days where I don't go out, because I have a full time job and commitments and things. It takes a lot longer to burn out this way.

They've found a powerful way to keep the vassals in line.

Not me. My eyes are a bright sky blue and they never change.

1452, if I remember correctly. Fall of Byzantinum in real life history, in case anyone is wondering why they choose that year in particular.

It can easily be changed to be longer if you want to keep playing though, I believe.

Also, the year Richard III was born.

Coincidence?

I used to do Wolf Runs all the time, but they rarely lasted more than 3 generations on any of the games.

I think 1 is my favourite. On 3, I didn't like how my Norns all looked like clowns and had too many buttons they really wanted to press all the time.
