Did anybody else see any relation between this and the Iraq War? The Native American connection is easy, but Unobtainium doesn't represent fur.

If they had thought of this earlier, they could have gotten out of Ancient Egypt so much faster.

At which events do you pretend to be each one?

Play With Your Buddies / Re: Let's play Jagged Alliance 2!
« on: March 24, 2010, 12:07:52 am »
Lawl, yeah, I too found that Jagged Alliance 1 took itself way more seriously, what with the whole assembling a team with a crazed russian who doesn't speak English, a mafia goomba, a mechanic who can't swim, and a sadistic madman who looks like Gordon Freeman thing.

This is truth. It has been too long, and Toady has probably gone insane. It's just we didn't notice, because his is a special strange mood where the dwarf pretends to keep working for the rest of eternity and forces other dwarves to idle while they wait in anticipation.

Which, ironically, is a feature that won't be released until at least next version.

It's only emotionally abusive if the guy dates other girls after they break up, and not if the girl makes out with guys while they are still dating.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The sun in Super Mario Bros. 3.

First few times you do this chase as an inexperienced platformer player is a harrowing experience, and there is no point in which you can play this with somebody else in the room and not have them freak out.

I sort of feel sorry for them. I mean, how do they deal with the real world? They are genuinely deluded to point of being dangerous to those around them.

Conservatives aren't deluded. It's you damn Lieberals who are deluded. I sort of feel sorry for them. I mean, how do they deal with the real world? They are genuinely deluded to the point of risking getting stabbed/raped/unemployed by a homosexual/scientist/immigrant.

This seems to happen in the case of any map with a chasm. Both my friend and I took adventurers to an abandoned fortress of mine and were swarmed by thousands of troglodytes and ratmen. I ended up ending our excursions when I finally got in and sealed off the only entrance with the drawbridge.

Unless it's a sphere.

EDIT: Though, if all matter is attracted to eachother, wouldn't that mean there is something the universe is drifting apart towards?

Actually, if you decide not to have the discussion in the thread, you can't bring the thread to the conclusion that your view is right.

I saw Julius Caesar on a movie called Gladiator once. None of that movie was true. Yet, that doesn't rule out his existence.

Sequio's post has merit. We can't prove anything in a theological debate, yes, but we can't disprove it, either. Saying that a deity or an afterlife can't exist because we can't prove it is like saying that Julius Caesar never existed because all we have to indicate he existed is an extensive list of writings.
