I really like the idea of having easy access to slade, particularly for building. I've always found it hard to build the large, dark castles described for succubi originally unless I luck out and land near obsidian on my embarks. Building a spire out of something that's potentially producible seems like it'd definitely go smoother.

It'll also be really interesting to have a race that actually wants to crack open the HFS.

I'm curious though. How much of the old "Capture prisoners, get souls, do rituals" gameplay is going to stay? Using souls to upgrade units and get effects was an interesting mechanic to me.

I'm having problems with the arc furnace, trying to make slade powder. I have empty bags, as well as slade stones from a factory. Do I have the wrong -kind- of slade or something?

I really want to make a militia completely consisting of hammerers with slade hammers.

Hey im new to modding. so i gave a dog wings but it cant fly. how could i make it fly?

I think you need to give it a [FLIER] tag, the birds all seem to have that.

So I'm new to modding, and I've been dabbling around in the existing creature raws to figure out how to make new ones. I noticed some of them have tags with !s around them, like ![PET]! or ![MOUNT]!

What exactly does that mean?
