Wagons don't need road anymore. Though, it might make 'em faster, because they don't need to avoid the trees etc.

Aquifers are blocked by hard rock. If you manage to find it, just dig a couple of tiles in it and then straight down. If you are planning to block an area of aquifer in real life, you need to block it from all around also bottom. don't know if it works in DF also...

I hope there are no ways to dig under watertable, because it is difficult even with modern technology. The only way is to insulate the corridor (like covering all the wall with cement) and/or pumping constantly...

Trapping is usually used to catch vermin, not very good food. If you want to catch game, like deer, then you must build cagetraps. To do that you need a mechanic and his shop to make mechanisms and carpenter/metalsmith and their shops to make cages (I'd prefer carpenter). Then you need to make animals go to your loaded cage traps somehow. Then they can be either tamed and butchered (easier, in my opinion) or just butchered.

Assigned work animals are pets, but you cannot assign trained animals as pets through animals screen. So, it is advisable to over stack your would be heroes/champions with dogs...

Noise from mining is not iplemented yet (I think...). Only workshops produce noise...

In old version, wasn't the maximum number with manager 60 pieces? I think I put 60 doors to be constructed in old version, haven't gotten that far yet in this new one...
