(I would like to claim the legendary metalworker, his name shall be Calmsteels and he will be a dwarf who ignores the crazy shit that's (if its any) going on around him unless it directly involves him or his friends (if any) he hopes to one day to make an legendary artifact sword or weapon that will be remembered for thousands of generations of dwarves!) (I hope i get to play this dwarf because hes vital to most of the fortress working with the metal making armor and what not) (i'll be keeping an eye on this thread king)

Got one ahem.

Ngedlv the Intense Tusks was a forgotten beast, it was the only one of its kind, an enormous scaly dung beetle, it has a stubby horn, and it undulates rhythmically, its pale blue scales are jagged and close-set, beware its poisonous gas! He is associated with chaos and caverns.

Wow this is very depressing. i hope my fortress becomes as sad as you guy's. About my fortress, it has a volcano that stops at the sruface, which is made of sand so i have a near unlimited amount of glass i can make for the traders. I am not kidding this is my best fort yet! right up there with the fortress with the native gold veins in the side of the mountain. so far no death and no accidents becuse it just started (dammit i need to go over there now and continue) i'll tell the name of the fortress. (i know you don't care lol)

Right now im trying to seal away my fortress (to an extent my broker still needs to get out right?) and turning the entrance into a unfinished step pyramid with a brige thant goes down and a wall of floodgates to trap them, at the bottom shall be a floor coverd in sand. ENOPE. its gonan be coverd in fucking steel and they will just have to enjoy there legless lives muhahaha!, wait... I will use it for goblins and ELVES. any thay survive will get to go free, they just have to get passed the serrated blades and weapon traps. Anyway I made it in to the cavrens and these goddammed tryoglyes wont go  away! Whats worse is that there are two gremlins on the loose (i think i cant find the death log of one) and i really hope i get three peaseants to turn into a suicide squad exploration squad to go down there and explore for me. :-\

I want a dwarf, if that's possible. call him Zeta, Metal worker or Stone worker (pretty sure you've got plenty to spare right?) and after he makes an artifact send him off to war! (ok i'll keep an eye on this thread to see how my dwarf is going)
