DF Suggestions / Re: Those who are feared by the Night.

Completely ignore this (if you want). I thought I had made this point earlier, but I realised I was just blabbering on about some random nonsense. I left it here because I thought it made another interesting point.
In my opinion (here we go
) The way in which the local populace decide to react to the dealings of a creature should be based off the personality of the local leaders. A local psychotic priest/bishop (or whatever) would begin to explode and blabber on about heathens from the opposing village have sent a missionary of their devious deity to impose some impure implications of an impetuous and imposing manner (hehehe). Both the destruction of the creature and some random action towards these unholy neighbours should be the conclusion of the beast trial, and the beginning of some silly war which would continue to develop into other things. The local drunkard mayor would react differently and so would some chivalric lord, all to do based on their abilities to convince people, their personalities, their beliefs and their experiences.
* Because of the actions of the priest a new religious group have formed in the village
* Because of the war created, an entire future of new events is just waiting to come into play
* Because of 'blah blah blah' (I hope I've made some sort of point by now)
* Even though I didn't make this idea earlier, I just added it anyway so I could sound interesting.
To focus on the 'in the way' part
(also I'm going to hold it here since its taken me almost an hour just to understand what I was actually talking about)

Now finally for the relevant part: Night creatures wouldn't necessarily be hostile towards a civilization, but rather 'in the way' if you get my drift.( yeah that part) The night creatures need not act directly towards anyone or even hint at it, as they are probably already busy with their own aspirations and problems ( a ware creature busy searching for a cure instead of succumbing to his/her hunger)
