New randomly genned fortress name: Mountainslaughter. I'll earn it.Will you be slaughtering mountains or performing slaughter on them?
A guy walked up to me at the store and asked me where the rubber bands were at. I got a far off look in my eyes and said, "Ahh, the Rubber Bands haven't played in forever." I proceeded to stare off into space as he watched me as if I were a rabid animal.I applaud you good sir, I've wanted to use that joke for forever, but never had the chance to.
Then I blinked and said, "Oh, you mean the stretchy kind. Yeah, those are over there."
I didn't even crack a smile until he was out of sight. Highlight of my day.
Trying to introduce some local TF2 community players to DF.If all else fails, show him Boatmurdered or Nist Akath, one of those two should drag him in.
One of them is slowly giving way. Its like pulling a big rock out of the ground, thinking it wont work at first, but then seeing it come out by a LIIITLE bit.
What happens to tourists in America who fail to tip out of ignorance?Well depends on what area you're visiting, around where I live we prefer to string them up by their ankles and let the 'coons take care o' the rest. In classier states like New York I hear a nice grilled Frenchman is considered a delicacy. And of course Montana is famous for taking the failure-to-tippers out to the highest mountain in the area, tying them up, and letting the wild Canadians go to work on them.
What does it matter? What is the point of this thread other than to make sure you're doing what everyone else does?In America at least, most of a waiter's paycheck is made up of their tips. It's not uncommon to have a person working at a restaurant for minimum wage (which is barely enough to live on) and anything past that is all tips. So not tipping is basically denying a waiter the majority of their paycheck, and under-tipping is the same.
