Apropos of what? And then what do we do about our politically neutral* and ad-free BBC TV and radio, S4C (ads), World Service (now forced onto the licence fund), etc, etc, etc..
* -  Stop laughing at the back, LW...
BBC bias is not very easy to quantify since it's very plastic.
Plastic? Plastic bias? I'm sorry, but I'm not quite familiar with that phrase, would you mind explaining?
Plastic as in plasticity.
A plastic bias isn't really a bias any more. Biases are by definition consistent.

They have embedded journalism now? Damn, those Islamists are smart. Our Western terrorists can't hold a candle to that.

"But not too Asian."

We already do that. It's called gasoline tax.

Sounds like Europe will only benefit from the new German toll then.
Please, do indulge me: How exactly are decreased mobility in border areas and bankrupt petrol stations beneficial to Europe? I'd be very interested to understand why that is.

381
And the damn toll was just a populist vote grab by our dear Bavarian conservatives in the first place. Germany doesn't even really want it - especially the border regions, which will be the most affected.

Really we should just be getting rid of tolls EU-wide.

Oh, I believe in the power of reason - in my experience getting people to look at things soberly is usually sufficient. Plus I don't like to threaten my friends: My usual move for that kind of thing would be 'I won't start lying for you.'

383
Sure - but by going around the person in the middle, you're making damn sure that that person's actions will be seen as a betrayal. If that person brings up the topic themselves, there's a chance of it being seen as the first step towards redemption: After all, it's bad policy to disincentivize honesty.

384
Nope. That conversation must happen between the two of them. The conveying of the bare-bones information is just a tiny sliver of what needs to happen there.

Just bury the potatoes you don't need in your yard. The spirits of the old Indian inhabitants of your region will be pleased with your offering. They shall make bushy plants appear on the burial site to test your wisdom and oneness with the land. Eat neither the plants themselves nor the small black fruit they bear! Both are poisonous, and are meant as a trap for the foolish and the careless. Nevertheless you should care for those plants, watering them, tending to their soil, and keeping them free of weeds. With time, these plants will wither and die away. Now is the time to dig once more. You will find that the Ancients will have answered your offering with one of their own, much bigger than the one you made.

Probably just a roaming Belgian.

Yeah it's almost as if politicians have a different agenda in the EU regardless of what their people think and that the EU works against people's ability to democratically self-determinate.
When folks are gullible or willfully uninformed enough for that trick to work, they deserve to be duped, really. It's not like there's some secret mystic wisdom being kept away from The People (tm) here.
