Hitler and his high command heavily underestimated the threat the soviet union posed, before and during their offensive against russia. There's even an actual recording of hitler chatting with a certain general about how they heavily underestimated the size of russia's tank fleet, and how they expected to see small factories slowly assembling tanks, and instead found fuckhuge complexes manned with people working like animals putting out lots of tanks almost on a daily basis.

Hey resident lawyer dudes! How much blood can we take before getting into trouble?!

Sadly, I don't think Truean has been on in some time. Plus they don't give legal advice over the internet.

I think the point that it becomes gross negligence is where the blood loss causes long-term harm.

Uh, I guess it depends on what you meaning by taking. You mean like, drawing blood from someone?
If so, then, as long as you have permission (and as long as you're a legal practicing physician, which may be a legal requirement in some places), it likely depends on the amount of blood one can draw from a person at any given time, and the maximum amount one can draw cumulatively over a certain period. These are techniqual guidelines, not legal ones (unless your particular legislation has covered that as well), btw, and vary a lot between patients and depends a lot on the context of the situation.
Speaking plainly, Akura is correct. If you draw so much blood that you're actualy endangering the patient, and there's proof that your act of drawing blood was done in a context in which it was inappropriate to do so and/or it was in a large enough amount that the patient would likely suffer serious (long term or not) consequences from it, then you can likely fall under a malpractice suit or somesuch, unless you drew blood in a non medical context, in which case I'd call the local vampire hunter.

Kinda funny how they managed to save some time for a grand ceremony declaring girlyman lordmanperson of maccrage during the middle of a massive chaos siege.

Also, a fun thought: apparently yvraine was able to ressurect some rubric marines when ahriman tried to capture her. Assuming these marines only have memories up to the time they became rubric marines, does that mean ahriman suddenly has a handful of loyalist thousand sons marines with him?

In another note, I kinda wish there was more night lords stuff, mostly because they're my favorite renegade chapter. They got the alpha legion thing of having no real central organization, work as mercenaries just because they can, aren't exactly super fond of any chaos god or even chaos mutations, are a legion full of psychotic batmans, etc.

Maybe you're secretly being milked by a vampire cartel with a special taste for your blood.

Actualy, while I've seen threads locked and posts deleted due to discussions on politics, I don't really remember any case of discussions on religion ever reaching that point. Some people are just scared of putting it on the table for whatever reason, while discussions on politics blow up threads every now and then.

So ye, unless anyone can point me to specific events in which discussions on religion exploded, I don't see any reason to be afraid of the topic, even when it smacks into the polthreads, which is relevant, in this specific case.

356
There's no religion thread. Unless you mean the railgun thread, the one in which we don't actualy discuss religion in, its actualy just a covert discussion on railguns so nobody can steal our data.

Oh man, ever since alfabusa made the 3 custodes into pillar men analogies, complete with the glorious theme, I've been hoping a mechanicus or krieger with prosthetics based on Stroheim shows up and screams IMPERIAL SCIENCE IS THE BEST IN THE GALAXY while Stroheim's theme plays.

Judaism, Christianity, Islam... same god, mostly the same tradition. Same religion really.
Whatever improbable things one believes in (and I'm including secular ones) doesn't make one civilised or barbaric. Among other things, how one deals with deeply held beliefs and those who disagree does.

Sorry bruva, doesn't work that way. There's a huge ideological, historical and cultural abyss between the three, and a reductionistic and generalizing view of it doesn't get you anywhere, apart from being kinda just a lazy and feeble attempt at avoiding dealing with the issues at hand.

Its kinda like saying 3 different guys that happen to come from the same general region of the world are completely identical just because they came from the same general region.

Anyways, looks like there's no paradigm change for the nether regions just yet. Sad, but all things considered, it could've been worse?

Cinema Sins is just a guy watching scenes and comming up with ways to make snarky remarks about it. I don't think its meant to be serious, so its kinda expected that there's zero research involved, but its kinda unfunny in general also so, whats the point?

Anyway, if you want decent reviews, you're better off with red letter media and cinemassacre, who, in turn, are way funnier anyway.

I must say I'm ok with multicultural milk ingestion, unless its goats milk. I'd rather eat the goat.
