The initial segregation of genders causes a few phenomena that have become less common nowadays that boys and girls tend to be less segregated while young. The segregation causes girls and boys to be more curious about their differences, but also more anxious and fearful of the other gender. This isn't bad by itself, as it helps to concretize one's view of their own gender much easier according to some, altough the lack of real interaction with the oppositive gender until puberty hits may make a person more likely to identify the opposite gender with sexual urges only, which in turn aids into objectification of said gender, one could say.

On the other side, lack of initial segregation between boys and girls diminishes the chance of kids feeling anxious around the oppositive gender, allows them to forge stronger bonds and likely diminishes objectification, but one could argue that it also makes forming gender roles harder, and gender roles aren't necessarily a bad thing, given gender roles aren't a human only phenomenon, despite what some believe. Lack of gender identification likely causes a fair bit of problems by itself.

What does all of this mean? Probably nothing, I just wanted to steal the topic to procastinate for a few minutes. I will now go back to hiding under your bed and drinking your beverages.

That means you're an easy target to spot.

Threats are easy to deal with when they're far away on some god forsaken land. Domestic threats are harder and far more politically taxing to deal with, and far more likely to be ignored so as to not harm a narrative. Hello hello, Sweden, land of jihadists getting social aid and rape capital of the EU.

There isn't a single american politician alive that can't be easily turned into a meme. Trump was just a little bit easier.

365
People keep falling for the meme stunts. It has got to the point that people legitimaly believe pepe memes were the cause for Trump being elected, that the one facebook purple pidgeon thing is really a covert racist symbol, and the milk thing, which has been going on for a while now.

Guys are trolling progressives so hard that progressives are actualy turning the stunts into real problems so they can complain about it. Thats where the real lulz is at.

We're getting to the point that anon could probably spawn the chaos gods just by trolling progressives and then having progressives use their collective WAAAGH field to spawn the chaos gods so they can complain and be opressed by them.

Its also pretty funny when people mention something that happened during the medieval age to justify what radical islam is doing today.

All while conveniently forgetting that the ottoman empire was a thing less than 2 centuries ago.

367
It is really funny when people make comparisons between radical islam and westboro baptists, though.

I mean, if all ISIS/Al Qaeda/Hamas/all the other 400 islamic terrorist groups did was protest funerals and do anti gay rallies and make hilarious videos and websites, the world would be a fairly nicer place.

Not even for showering?

I'll just never get jewelry, I guess.

Its far easier to cope with it than you might think. I have a gold chain that I never take off except for swimming, and I've gotten so used to it that I basically don't even notice it. In fact I feel weird whenever I take it off.

It's been snowing the last 2 days, but the snow doesn't seem to be sticking around for too long.

Nothing too exciting, I just like snow (despite having to shovel it and all).

Frozen plants look delishus.
Eat the frozen plants.

Your human disguise looks pretty good. And the puzzle piece necklace is cool!

Yeah, in case you're curious here's a closer picture of it:

Spoiler: Necklace (click to show/hide)

If you can't read it, it says "her one <3". My girlfriend has a matching one that says "her only <3". I bought them as a sort of Christmas/New Year's/birthday thing (her birthday is Jan 8). And they can fit together and aaaaaaaa

Also, I've been wearing this necklace for over 2 months without taking it off.
Your human disguise looks gud. The hair, specially so, I'll add you to my list of "people whose hair I will steal for reasons".

Good, lets have a beer together sometime.

But only if its west german.
Sounds good.

There's a couple more folks here from the Netherlands and Belgium - maybe we should organize a regional meetup sometime. Whaddya think?

I can't be present because THE OCEAN IS IN THE WAY, but as long as there's a bottle of Guinness on the table, I'll be present in spirit, touching people's hair without permission.

Also, the whole "fascism was racist and killed a bajillion people" doesnt exactly stick since communism murdered even more people and pushed several views your average social media progressive should find disgusting (IE homosexuals are mentally ill capitalist dogs, jews are fascist bastards because they don't conform to our ideas, ukranians are disposable, black people are inferior and immoral, etc).

So ye, sorry cringy soviet shirt guy, but I can't really treat you any better than a guy wearing a swastika.
I disagree, but only because Fascism clearly led to the Second World War (you might argue that hitler himself didn't cause all these deaths, but fascism is  indisputably the case and reason for the war), and by that token Fascism has a death toll of around eighty-four million people; whereas by contrast capitalism and communism have both, thus far, resisted the urge to plunge the world into everlasting night, which is a point in their favor.

Now lets play with that idea for a second. You're factoring in the entire death toll of ww2, including those caused by communist regimes, and blaming it entirely on fascism, out of the fact that fascism was the trigger that started the war.

Thats kinda like a guy who murdered 10 people in cold blood (members of his own family included) going to court and blaming this other guy who murdered 2 on the same ocasion and saying " hey he started it so its all his fault, not mine, lol".

So today I was going to the gym where I swim at, and I came across a construction site. There were several burly construction workers working there, and one of them had set up a radio so they could listen to some music while they beat down the old masonry.

The radio was blasting Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", and the guys seemed to be having a pretty good time listening to it.

On my way back from the gym, I made sure to walk by the same construction site, and the guys were still working hard, and the radio was blasting a similarly happy 80s girls pop song.

I'm ok with this.
