I'd rather reload a fight than consume a potion. I even hoarded potions in the Witcher, where you can actually craft way more than you could possibly use.
I do this all the time in fallout 2. Usualy reload if it forces me to use more then 1 stimpack per difficult fight :P

I can't select any of the options because I suffer from several of them :P. Loot OCD, stacking OCD, Ammo Hoarding and Diplomatic Bipolarity are staples of my characters in RPGs. On games in which building things is major feature, such as in DF and derpcraft, I also suffer from symmetry related OCD.

I remember hoading absurd ammounts of multiple different types of ammo in the old HellMOO. I had about 8~10 ammo boxes containing everything from 9mm clips and shotgun slugs to sniper rifle ammo and harpoons.

Your Mother is a greedy greedy divine female.

His armies stay, but they go indie. His jaguars are still hanging out in that one province.

YS: The Oath in Felghana and YS: Ark of Napishtim are both japanese style action RPGs with a side of plataforming that would most likely work fine on your laptop. Gothic 1 and 2 are also good picks. Both are availiable on Steam too.

There's also this oldie action rpg-ish called Severance: Blade of Darkness that should work well on it. Its sort of a unknown gem from 2001 that never got much attention, but is actualy a pretty sweet action game with a rather complex fighting system for its time and very well done animations (done with motion capture). From the 4 characters you can choose, one is a dwarf :o

All of these are rather obscure action RPGs you likely haven't played yet, and all of them support WASD controls, AFAIK.

Making money by selling people semi-interactive clips of highly detailed 3d models fighting and doing silly things is one thing (Heavy Rain/Indigo Prophecy I'm looking at you), but trying to sell people poorly made live action clips with scenes you can change on the fly through quicktime events is too much :P

I'm with the majority on this one.

Its time to pull my prophet back into the game. I still need some extra research for that though, which is being hampered by god calling.

Anyway I finally have a network of scouts going around :o, thanks to ermor's lands which I'm now ruining with my dominion :P

Derp, pretender asploded, time to call him back :P

Them jaguars br0. Its no matter though, I can now summon some rather interesting stuff :o

Be glad I wasn't confident enough to go full on scorched earth tactics with my dominion in this game. This means my provinces will be only semi useless someone gets them :P

Also, I love playing agartha with this mod. It just feels a lot more flexible and less weak, and the endgame national spell is like tartarian gate on steroids.

Yea, it feels really odd that, while vehicles are rare, you can find them on pristine condition, and never a wrecked one, just random parts lying everywhere for no real reason. It'd make constructing vehicles easier and the world would look more realistic.

Aye, you should be able to choose which one you start with. Its just a huge ammount of points to get something which you'll get later anyway, except without any choice.
I sort of like the armor ones though. I've been wanting to make a mega cyborg-y character but its really hard to get your hands on anything that isn't CBM:Power Sources, CBM: Utilities or CBM: Internal Battery. Some others should be more readily availiable, like CBM: Hazmat, which you only ocasionaly find on dead scientists. I think only the really good or niche ones, like super soldier and ranged combat should be reserved for military bunkers and special labs, while the others should be more readily availiable like those 3.

Also, even when you do actualy get into bunkers, there's only a slight chance there will be CBMs there, and sometimes CBM-Labs have nothing or just the regular CBMs in their vault, which is guarded by robots.

Altough there's litteraly no penalty for having multiple power source CBMs, with the exception of metabolical exchange, which sucks, and alcohol burner, which requires another CBM to be used without penalty, but becomes really efficient once you have it.

And the only reason I don't take the android ones is that I like to save points for fast reader and fast learner, which help a lot :o

Yeah, I'll put the game on hold for a week. So there's no rush submitting your turns.

In other news, I saw the strangest battle. Agartha fought Mictlan. All the cave creatures ran with heavy losses, but their god refused to follow. He then proceeded to singlehandedly rout the remaining Mictlan warriors.

I thought only mindless or berserk commanders refused to rout. Does it normally work like that with undead ones too?

Yea, apparently my pretender and agarthan's province defense leader share the same quality: they stay around while the army routs and beat the shit out of anyone left. I remember when ermor attacked one of my indie provinces with a small army but several mages. Turns out the province leader walked right past his troops and pumelled 5~6 mages to death by himself before being killed :P
