Look at my staff to see if it has a clockwork key on it, if it has a key, turn the key until it clicks, then wander around the town looking for something to kill.  If it doesn't, just look for something to kill

Try "Clo-caltel Shubha" again, if it doesn't work, look for a stick that would serve as a walking-staff.

Say "Clo-caltel Shubha" and hope for a staff long and strong enough to serve as a walking stick.  If I get a suitable staff, look for something to kill.  If not, stay where I am.

Put the rubber where the chunk is missing and say "Hath-caon Hobitaeaod", focusing on merging the rubber to the missing part of my arm.

Say "Hath-caon" and if the spell works see if the chunk of rubber is about the size of the chunk missing out of my arm, if the spell doesn't work, or the chunk of rubber is smaller than the wound in my arm say "Hath-caon" again.

Well, I'm pretty sure I don't want to stab a lightning bird with a steel spear, so Throw spear at a bird and say Shareeb Shaazeshelial, then if a mark appears instantly activate it.

Well, the path seems to be unblocked, so I will quit with the experiments for now.
Say Shareeb Shubhallethel, then pick up the result, whether it seems usable in combat or not, and walk down the path.
