Having just found this great piece of work, I was looking back through blogposts about "Terminal Obsession" and saw national guard soldiers in the combat logs. So, we'll get non-operative humans with guns now? No more civillains wandering aimlessly and no missing militaries?

... Eh, I played Gaians and just used war to make everyone my vassals. High Locust Of Chiron production (With high veterancy on build) certainly helped.

Leaving everyone your tiny slaves provides much needed council votes. The end.

You lost me at Dragonfire. Was a dragon having a vacation in the area at the time?

Now, back on topic. I'm not sure if this has been stated before, but a slight advantage of dashing is how the soldier becomes harder to be hit by Overwatch fire. Just bringing up something we might have missed.

Then again, all my games are weird. Like how purple pikmin are immune to tripping and I've had five die to tripping right in front of a charging bulborb.

I digress-sorry for the misinformation. Shades of culture still stand, don't they?

Gill men in TFTD are implied to be an ancient earth species that allied with the alien colony ship when it crashed.

Apoc has the micronoid empire, those little green globs controlling all the "Alien Dimension" aliens.

I'll leave the rest for you to find out.

Well, "eventually" is better than the "NO" I expected.

Hm... seems some alien species have an "Elite" or enhanced equivalent to them.

So far, you have normal sectoids and Psychic sectoid commanders.

Mutons and the Muton Berserker.

Floater and Heavy Floater.

... A pattern?

Regardless, let me elaborate.

The game takes place in an alternate version of the timeline present in UndyingNephalim's rather extensive fan Manga.

What kicks off this game is Link putting the Master Sword back, thus sending him back in time... and by extension ripping the timeline a new one.

Link is supposed to end up joining one of the strongest factions, most likely the strongest one opposing Majora.

Majora is the overall antagonist of campaign. His religion spreads much more quickly than a similar religion. If Majora worship hits 50% two factions enter the fight-The Church of Majora and The Ooccaa. Factions that have fallen to Majora worship will work for majora and TCoM will be able to create some of their units. Link and the Ooccaa are the strongest opponents of Majora.

The only 3 factions which, by default, worship Majora are the Twili and Kingdom of Ikana-and neither begins on the map. Beyond that, the Chuch of Majora cannot spawn without them.

The Campaign is very incomplete, but there. All factions are set-there is a hard limit on factions and buildings. Most are major, a few are minor. Of the major ones, ALMOST all are playable. Mercs are in the early stages of implementation. There are still early factions missing units that have yet to be implemented.

Much of this need to be worked on before it is in the campaign-but that's a fraction of the plan. You can glean more info by just using the forum.

Done multiple different ways-all with forge and modloader, with and without buildcraft, with and without meta-inf (I don't want to know how I got it to run for a few moments with meta-inf) , with and without modlo-

"then you just drop the forestry jar into your /mods folder."

... The download contains no Foresty.jar

It does contain a number of folders, but no jar. Things like ic2, Buildcraft, and others as folders. But no jar. Same with the "Extra Bees" extension.

... I might as well give up on forge.

I don't believe it. After installing hundreds of mods in different combinations since alpha, they've made a mod and api which I can not for the life of me install correctly, apparently.

Even when everything is in place and minecraft loads there's not a single bit of copper or tin to let me make my apiary-and TMI isn't showing me a single new item.

No wild bee nests either.

Yeah... not the most common item on the market last I heard.
