you could also just set the tissues the trolls use to be super regenerative, but you would have to change them to a custom tissue, unless you want EVERYTHING to be wolverine.

PS: dont ask me how to do it, i am in no way an experienced with creature tissues. But i know it can be done.

yea, you need individual bones. just slaughter an animal in your fort.

z, Enter, then b on the animal you want to have slaughtered.

Rock Bars are the Dwarven slang for Metal Bars. if you have any ores smelt a few and he should be fine.

PS: since it's a weaponsmith i would highly reccomend only smelting him weapon grade metals over other metals.

You might also want to consider sheep, you get everything from them you would a pig, and you can shear them for wool.

Edit: i just checked the raws and it apears pigs are abit bigger. 60000 for pigs and 50000 for sheep. so if you are looking for animals for a meat industry i would go with pigs. if not, then sheep.

so one of my dwarves just mooded a bow, but arrows are foreign ammo.

so my question is this: Is it possible to make them craftable by dwarves, without a regen?

Don't quote me on this but i believe that ambushers have to be detected before they will trip the traps.

also kobolds have Trap Avoid, so they will never set any of your traps off.

you could always use a stockpile and a Dwarven Atom Smasher (AKA a drawbridge) though this will totaly delete the item from your fort, so no recycling :{

Would it be possible, via modding, to make them have the pet tag without a regen?

(and yes my fort has a ridiculous amount of large sea critters. right around the beginning of my fort two of my haulers just randomly walked into my butchers shops with orca corpses and i jumped to like 1.5k meat.)

So i'm right next to an ocean and there are some orca's taunting me to catch them. but sadly i dont even know if that is possible let alone how to go about doing it.

So my questions are:

Is it possible to catch live sea animals

and

If i catch them, can i breed them effectively enough to run a meat industry?
