"On the topic of afterlives: Talios, may I have your permission to create one for my followers?"
"Just tell me what you have in mind, and I'll probably approve it."

587
Talios looks over at Zenurion with a blank look on his face. So no change that would be preceptible to mortals.  :P

588
"Correction: I haven't made an afterlife yet."
"Don't worry, I will happily guide your lost followers to an afterlife where they will be appreciated."

589
"Suffering is how our creations earn their afterlives! Oh wait, we haven't made afterlives for our creations yet. The tick after next tick, then."
"This one is truly deficient. The afterlives are older than mortal life, than the Creation of the worlds themselves, you fool."

590
"You should already know my opinion on this. Eliminating death completely is impractical, the use of a single mortal soul, living or dead, negligible."

591
"As amusing as this is, I fail to see a point to it, unless one of you wants to borrow my scythe."

592
Remind me to target your gods first...

( :P Just kidding. Mostly.)

593
Talios dons his 'work uniform' and begins the tedious task of guiding the lost souls to an afterlife.

594
Talios repairs the glass.

595
Talios glances at the lost souls milling around the void.

"Is it cheating if create a being to guide them that looks exactly like me so that noone will know I can't be bothered to personally guide them to an afterlife?"

596
"Maybe. It gives me an idea though."

Talios' robe turns black and gains a cowl. A scythe replaces his crook and flail.

"HOW DO I LOOK?"

597
Talios stands up and dusts himself off, his crook and flail return to normal.

"You are truly a worthy opponent Devil."

And so are you, Reaper.

An unassuming seed quickens into life, sprouting into a small seedling, growing at a rapid pace into a sapling, a small tree, a average tree, a large tree, continuing on and on, ballooning in size seemingly without end until it filled the horizons. Sylvan had awakened within Creation.

Sylvan uses one ichor to create the Eternal Forest, the afterlife for worshipers of Sylvan and the default afterlife of trees. Upon the death of a tree, it is reborn as a seed within the Eternal Forest, soon sprouting into a new seedling. Each tree in the forest has sufficient space, nutrients and sunlight to grow to its maximum potential. Non-tree worshipers become a tree of their choice. All who enter the Eternal Forest immediately become trees.

Sylvan uses one ichor to transform as much wilderness as possible, that isn't already, into thick lush forests of mundane trees appropriate to their environments, but with a preference for larger varieties (e.g. giant redwoods or clonal colony trees such as the quaking aspen.)

Sylvan uses all his Essence, Flux and Essence and Flux caps to incorporate himself into the world, becoming the Biggest Tree.

(I hope making lots of forests is fine with everyone. I may make a custom species, still brainstorming it.)

YOU! RIGHT HERE! BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK OF THE CONCEPT OF SPEAKING! IF YOU DARE TO SPEAK GIBBERISH LIKE THESE IDIOTS I SWEAR I'LL BURN EVERY SINGLE TREE IN EXISTENCE AND SEND THEIR SOULS TO BURN ETERNALLY IN HELL!

Now with that done, allow me to introduce myself: I am Zenurion, god of genius and villainy, but everyone here call me the Devil, for a reason of course.

"Why do you call me that?"

598
Talios stands up and dusts himself off, his crook and flail return to normal.

"You are truly a worthy opponent Devil."

599
"This is getting embarassing..."

600
Talios thrusts the butt of his scythe behind him before falling down.
