My argument is thus: keeping a bed around where I can deposit it at anytime will let me heal fully should I become injured like before, which drastically aids efficiency by allowing me to move faster than a crawl should my legs become disabled again. Additionally, it'll free me from having to go back to settled places should I need to venture to bedless places in search of souls. Is that sufficient persuasion?

Regardless of the result, also store the bearded fellow in storage space and head to the queen.

Man, nothing is more irritating than having to borderline cheat in a game in order to get back equipment that got destroyed by a shitty bug.

Whoops, got yer name wrong. My bad there.
...
We need a more organized voting system, I think, rather than this +1 business. This may add to the confusion, but I'll introduce my own plan, and if anyone wants to vote for it, just put the name in your post, how about that?

Plan Xan

-Of course! You will leave the village soon and make your way to Nuulyd as soon as possible. A gathering of priests like this presents ... opportunity.

-Your cultists will worship you, and find more substantial sacrifices. You will need the juice, what with going into a den of holy men soon.

Going along with my proposed route of trapping the priests inside the building and burning them alive to turn them into more of our servants. Or corrupting them all at once or something.

Elder Thing(ish) statues, PW? That's ... interesting.

Retroactive good luck on your finals, by the by.

Return to Xan briefly.

"Say, good chap, I see there's fire pit out there by the campsite! Try setting a fire there, will you? And make it last! Maybe leave a message as well, eh?"
"I will take that as a suggestion instead of the command it was phrased as. Do watch your tongue in the future."

Fire pit? Perfect opportunity to test out my fire powers!
Stand well back before I begin.

Hmm. A meeting of priests, you say? I think I sense opportunity here. Does anyone else think we're up for the task of corrupting a meeting of the buggers? Just imagine how our influence would spread if we got the lot of them subtly spreading our cult...
Hmm.

NUKE.913, did the priest mention how many priests are meeting here? I'm somewhat interested in traveling to this meeting place, burning it to the ground with the priests inside, and then turning the lot of them into Sacred Wordbearers.

"Things are looking up for ol' Jack! Excellent, excellent.

Say, guardswomen, how's the looting and pillaging or what-have-you of this place going? And where can I find the queen from here? I'm in a mood to get out and accomplish something. Probably involving violence."

Get info from nearby guardswomen! Regardless of their answer, head back inside momentarily - I want to try to store the bed I slept in inside my well-given storage space. It probably won't work, but best to try.

Then, if I've been given directions to the queen, go head in her direction.

Perhaps we use our influx of evil energy to transmute any wolves/wildlife we find around our village into the aforementioned shadowy wraith things, send those to terrorize nearby villages, and send our cultists to preach at those same villages after a time?

Why not build a small altar underneath the temple. They could paint maze like lines  on the floor. A moch shrine, we will replace this one later on with a proper temple. Having a small powerroom though is especially useful when surprise attacks or such happen to us...
Actually yeah this sounds good.

Why not have the village as it is seem rather ordinary and not visibly corrupted by our presence to go with the theme of the New Way proposal and building our evil maze-temple underneath the place? It'll fit with the whole 'insidious evil' thing we have going.

1134
Eh, it's just a village and we've got a good foothold on it, it's a worthwhile investment.

Fully corrupt the entire village

Demonhood's back?! Holy hot diggity dang damn shittery shiver me timbers I'm gonna be watching this. Participating too.
Hmm. I see there's discussion of Nokluvgn's theme, eh? Well, I think I have some ideas in line with what's already going on.

Noklugvn is the subversion of things you thought were once normal. He is you coming home to your house to find it distorted and bloodied, the dimensions of rooms warped and strangely elongated, of fingers wriggling only in your peripheral vision. Fingers cover everything, replacing doorknobs, what food you have, even your cutlery is merely fingers on sticks. The fingers are not normal either, that would be too generous - some are enormously elongated and bladed, sinuously waving like deadly seagrass, others have strange bony spikes forming out of the skin - always two at first near the nail, which is pointed so as to form a cross-like shape.

The dreams begin slowly, but as they progress a villager will begin to see them bleed through into their life. Where did all these knives come from? Are his own fingers becoming distorted? Why can he no longer find his way inside his own home? What are those things grasping at the corners of his eyes?

Apologies for going on and on and on, but you get the essential idea, yes? Strange dreams that start with one's surroundings being a little distorted, but as the dreams go on they get more and more demented and fingers, knives, and mazes start featuring more and more heavily in them, and then eventually they start seeing this stuff in real life, eventually turning to worship us.

This strongly smells of one of those projects that'll end up actually summoning ancient evils in the design of its construction if he stays sane long enough to complete it.

Well, luck to him.

"Well, that was rather refreshing, I must say. And now I have bones again! So what now, then. I suppose I should find him and eliminate him and his unfortunate knowledge, but that can come whenever I find him, if I ever do. I don't really wanna go back to earth, truthfully, so ... I suppose stick around here for the meantime. See what comes of it."

I notice all the Traces of Mischef are gone, including my mangled hand. Is this true? Do I have ol' lefty again?

Regardless of that result, take a moment to luxuriate in the sensation of standing on stable legs again before heading downstairs from wherever I am.

X-Men Apocalypse was ... disappointing. It had the potential to be a really interesting conflict, but just ended up kinda boring, cliche, and boring cliche. The fact that they have Jean Grey as a thing that exists is also saddening.

fucking deus ex machina bullshit with no narrative justification special snowflake character stencil
Also it kinda sorta had really shitty character development, progress, and portrayal through it all. Which sucks.
