Bertram shrugs.
Well, good luck with that bleeding, he says as he
gets up from under his cloak and heads into the tower.Chaos/Chaos/Death: This spell applies the principle of entropy to death itself, extending the target's life span by dissolving the point at which they would normally die with entropic energy. However, the more effort put into it, the more likely the spell is to target the target's lifespan instead, in a manner similar to Entropic Flame.
Entropic Flame: Fire/Chaos/Death: This bolt of flame is imbued with chaotic energy that unravels the life span of the target, shortening it by a significant number of years; the more magic imbued into the bolt, the more years. It can even kill someone outright if the number of years deducted exceeds the amount they'd live on their own.
Deathly Rage: Death/Death/Fire: A touch spell that sends the victim into such a rage (fire component) that he dies from a sudden increase in blood pressure, as well as the various symptoms of stress (stomach cramps, acid flux, diarrhea, ulcers, baldness, gas, etc) that develop unnaturally fast as a result of the tremendous rage coursing through them. Scavengers have strong enough digestive systems (most notably goblins) that they are able to resist the death effect, but they still undergo the rage effect.
Lodestone: Order/Order/Earth: This spell imposes order on the earth itself; the caster envisions a destination and a thin line inscribed itself in the ground that points straight towards the destination. As the caster moves, the line moves with him/her. This spell cannot point to a destination whose location is unknown.
Basebreaker: Chaos/Chaos/Earth: This spell injects entropic energy into the loadbearing parts of the structure it's targeted at. The loadbearing parts then break due to being weakened by the chaotic energy, and the structure collapses. If it's built very strongly, it may resist the effect, but still be far less sturdy. The spells strength decays exponentially with range, with maximum strength being achievable at touching distance. Multiple castings stack.
This spell only affects constructed stone structures. Wood, metal and natural stone formations are all immune.
