So... just to summarize, it is best to only post on an old thread when you have something new to add, right?
A round of applause! Applause, I say!

Well. Wizards.
...
I'm gonna leave this be for now, actually. Got a bunch on my plate and can't take on another RP project right this second.

I will undoubtedly make a character for it at some point though.

"I'd offer to help, but my power works off of sacrifice, and at the moment I've nothing and no one I'm willing to destroy."
"Oh! I kept the cat fresh, by the way. On an unrelated topic."
"I appreciate the input, but the situation isn't that urgent. Plus the cat can still be of use, he's good at telling and exaggerating stories. I've ideas."

((There were only superficial similarities. The burning was of his opponent, and it was powered by his song and that of the tribes. His song ground their enemies to dust and all that. The fact that his arm got burnt off is more because of him protecting his people from those star bombs the Herald fired.

Ultimately his powers are based around song and myth he nurtured in the tribes, and mine seem to be forming into an exaggerated form of thermodynamics - I take energy out of one thing and put it into another.))
((You seem to be the only character who is developing any sort of skill, talent, or strength.))
((Seems to be the nature of the setting - those who are already in prominence grow in it. Sorry :/

Although I think it's mostly because Xan's been around the longest out of everyone here, which gains him some reputation, has killed a ton of people by setting them on fire, which because they reincarnate means their belief in how they were killed strengthens him, and utilizes his growing powers however he can in the most spectacular manner possible. I think this stuff works kinda on an exponential curve almost - the more powerful you are the more people believe you're powerful which makes you more powerful which lets you more easily convince people you're more powerful which in turn makes you more powerful which ... etc. I just got a head start on y'all due to outliving my former companions, which lends me a bigger and bigger lead on our various transformations and powers.))

"I'd offer to help, but my power works off of sacrifice, and at the moment I've nothing and no one I'm willing to destroy. Instead, I would like some answers, seeing as the present threat is over. Who was that? I'm currently assuming he was some sort of herald for the Great Conquering King that I've previously heard mention of as having built the Hellway. You evidently have some sort of history with him?"

Yep, more questions.

"Kay, I really just need the one honestly. Hey captain! Guard captain or whatever! Gimme one of the disposable prisoners for me to store!
...
Please!"

Try a completely novel tactic and be polite.

Looking back on it, and this has already been explained by others, but I can't really be surprised in hindsight that Hillary lost. Trump ran basically the exact 'type' of campaign Obama did in 2008 when he bulldozed the fuck over Hillary, and for all the hyperbole about her being a robot or a lizard person or whatever, she's not exactly the most flexible person in regard to tactics of that sort. She lost then, she lost now. This is basically the 'Yes We Can' thing all over again, only approaching the other side of the spectrum.

With far less checks and balances due to the whole majority in the House and Senate thing, though I'd be severely disappointed if the Democrats don't at least try to cockblock Trump at every turn like the Republicans did for the past 8 years.

Don't say that before you see what he tries to actually put through.
Fair point, disappointed is the wrong word to use there. More ... confused, I'd say. That's kinda what whichever party's in the minority seems to do in my piddling time observing American politics. It'd be unexpected if they didn't do that.

Scamper down over to Xan and complain about lack of edible corpse.

"Where's his corpse? I wanted to eat it!"
"Perhaps you'll find it later."

Xan focuses his attention on the Most-Beautiful.

"Judging by your expression I take it that you aren't in any danger of dying at the moment?"

More talking? Yeah, more talking.

Also refasten the cape. Gotta look cool.

Okay, here's the President Donald Trump's (brrr) 100-day plan for what he wants to do.

Big stuff includes repealing Obamacare and replacing it with something called "National Health Account". Also repealing every "unconstitutional" executive order issued by Obama. And, of course, the wall. Can't forget the wall.

Of note: no mention of anti-LGBT or pro-Evangelical measures. Hopefully it'll stay that way. (Hope for Trump? what the fuck has happened)
Woah some of those are very vague. Especially that last one. 'Drain the swamp'? The fuck does that even mean?

Goddammit California don't do it it doesn't work take it from Canada, we've had to deal with Quebec's shit for decades

1213
Ok, let's explain it with other words : news stations around America (and Europe) were saying how much they, and by extension the whole system, freared and hated Trump. In direct consequence he won the election.

Saw a guy saying he don't care if hillary becomes president tomorrow, he just wanted to see the faces of "those idiots on T.V" when trump gets elected.
The schadenfreude was sublime, I must admit.

1214
Whatever the reality of the situation is, the next few seasons of South Park are going to be fucking spectacular.

"Interesting. The quality matters as much as the spread."

Wait for the dust to clear.
...actually screw that DBZ trope, wave the dust away with my cloak of fire to see what exactly is happening in the place where they were fighting.
