I don't get the Mass Effect games. The shooting parts are fun. but if I wanted to spend hours walking around a place with useless NPCs, I'd play a Bethesda game.You get to talk to them and convince them to not be idiots because you're Space Jesus.

Guys... this thread was started in November and already has this many posts... I've only ever seen this rate of growth in a disney movie knockoff game by a popular GM and an RTD where the players spent the whole 30 odd pages arguing before the game failed from critical mass of disputes...Anything involving magical girls or freeform RPs don't count.
