Wait, where is this eye shown? I'm confused because the eye shown under Kore's helm is on the same side as Forgath's eye that got cut. If Forgath and Kore were looking the same way, they'd both have a cut over their right eye.

The proper response would normally be "both", but I cringe at the thought of being a vampire in Skyrim.
What you need, is a vampire overhaul mod.
I recommend Better Vampires and Royal Bloodline.
