Buddha's alright, though I'm not sure if that's his real name.
I'm out, trust me on that.
Er ... Freja from Norse mythology? Just gotta get in there before Ragnar๖k.

BUT the final throw relies on the throwing skill of... Well, of a peasant. They need to succeed on a ranged attack against their target, which seems to be forgotten. With an unwieldy, non-weapon implement. Basically, this is a good way to get some peasants to kill themselves with a nuke.

Put a badass PC with Weapon Focus (Throwing Poles) and a high BAB at the end, though...
Wasn't that how it was originally used?
Still, if I ever play Exalted or Strike Legion I'm totally going to try this even if it's not in the rules.

No, it's an arbitrarily high number of peasants in a line passing an iron pole from one to the next, from beginning to end, in about three seconds, then throwing it at arbitrarily high velocity. It abuses some DnD rules about readying actions and such.
It's this.
If you recruit a couple hundred peasants you have a line around a mile long IIRC. The impact of the spear was something equivalent to a nuke.
Don't fuck with peasants.

Relatively.

Xan taps his scales, the claw bouncing off with a clink.

Wouldn't have grown these if I didn't think so.

Volume when speaking of him also helps attract his attention. I wouldn't reccommend it though, last I checked he was a paranoid ass with abandonment issues and insatiable ambition.
Not really a bad sort amongst most of the gods, but still.

((I have hevay scaleplate so I should at least be able to retaliate if I get attacked :P
But aside from my onship shenanigans and what happened at Ice-9, I actually intend to be more on-task and competent this mission, both for convenience and as part of Xan's character development.))

I could, but I like being what I am and dislike the thought of overloading my amp.

Get in the front of the perimeter, flame breath ready.
Under no circumstances assimilate or absorb any of the goo - Xantalos no trust.

Pft, at lvl 20 a good leader in charge of a Kingdom can attract tens of thousands of lvl1 commoners to his cause.

I can almost hear the thousands of ineffectual *whiffs* as their crudely made pitchforks glance off of their enemy's masterworked mithril armour now.

For some reason all the peasants in one of my DM's games are not to be messed with. He makes all of them uber death machines just to deter us from bugging them. The last one we messed with was apparently an epic-level monk. He rolled a strength roll and succeeded at lifting an entire barn off of its foundation and throwing it at us.
2 words: peasant railgun.

In Skyrim, except for NPC souls, the soul just seems to be proportional to the toughness of the critter. Which is why Mammoths get grand souls but giants only get Common souls.
But that makes no sense.
Giant>>>>>>>>>>>>>mammoth.

Just bringing this up, D&D has had intelligent weapons for decades. Frequently they're smarter than the Fighter using them!

Also I doubt a child's soul would do much enchanting work. Gotta get better souls than that!
But vealsouls
