Sometimes I feel like the only person who simply wants to follow a plot rather than deliberately try to fuck it upI don't deliberately fuck plots over most of the time.

Another thought (although probably difficult to implement) would be to implement age-based tokens. Particularly, I was thinking of the silk and leather tokens. I love the idea that while giant cave spider silk is generally pretty flammable, you could have the silk of a really, really ancient giant cave spider be as tough as steel, enabling you to weave a lovely magmaproof silk shirt. (Note: magmaproofing does not extend to wearer). Or using giant scorpion tails to build poisoned ballista bolts. Tie all this to the Animal Dissector skill, and you suddenly make a very rare and mostly useless job into the most popular dwarf in town.
Still think that would be nifty as hell. And that was almost five years ago to the day.
Wait, in the Dawn of War games, space marines would always do this front flip back onto their feet when knocked down, rather than just getting up normally.So they're the super soldier equivalent of a kid with so many coats on he can't move?
I tried to think whether this is actually any faster, or if it just looks cool, but now it makes sense! They are physically incapable of rotating their upper body enough to pick themselves up in a normal fashion! That's hilarious!
