General Discussion / Re: Things that made you sad today thread.

Sad that someone-who-I-shall-not-name did something for absolutely arbitrary reasons which made no sense and were apparently dependent on him predicting that Toady would not like it. Fucking hell.
If you're referring to the recent incident, the person was just being -rightfully- cautious. Stuff like that has gone badly there many times before.
I am proud that I have learnt to say much while saying nothing. It seems to be a useful skill.
It really is.

I still don't know what an IRC is...

And I just realized I don't know how to properly convey my confusion and sadness without using an "emote", which I have sworn to never use.
Instant chat thing.

Jason is whispering some words to himself. Incomprehensible.
((Also, there is actually no way to fix this. He's basically a ticking time bomb. It's his character design.))
((Well yeah. Darnos is basically trying to solve a Rubik's Cube here.))

Geez, it's like a twelve year old's mind in here!

She was probably doing it to mess with me, because she knows I'm not really used to contact of any kind.

I highly doubt it is related to the oft-mentioned "D".
NO. SHE WANTS THE D. SHE DEMANDS IT. YOU MUST GIVE IT TO HER. THE FATE OF THE UNIVERSE DEPENDS ON YOU GIVING HER YOUR D.
She wants to rub the fact that she got better grades than you in your face, obviously.

Internet.

Darnos sighs.
I realize that this talk may be distressing but I'm actually thinking of ways your condition could be alleviated. It's not malavolent or anything.
Now then...
He begins muttering.

19492
"T-T-There's n-nothing y-y-you can d-do.. I-I a-a-a-assure y-you.."
I'll think of something.

"He's not going t-to turn into a lich, that w-would be stupid.."
Why not? Judging from the state of decomposition he's half rotted already; if he goes much more he'll be literally nothing but skin and bone. Nothing to rot when you're a lich.

((Still need to kill fishboy though.))
((I have a plan for that.))
((Throw him to the Sods? I'm sure they'll kill him pretty damn quick, considering his appearance, and the kill all Altered order I'm sure they have ingrained into their brains.))
((Actually it's [SPOILERS], but maybe I'll do that if it happens to present itself.
Maybe.))

19494
I insist. It's an intriguing thought excersise.

Oliver looks angrily at Darnos.
Why so angry?

"M-My b-b-body w-would r-refuse the t-transplant.. s-s-so n-no..."
Hm. Well, I'll try to think of something.

19497
((My constant +1 to END will be my boon. If I can successfully get the Doc to alter me to be unnaturally tough, then I may not even need to get a decomp.))

19498
"I-I-I a-already h-have.. I-I-If h-h-he t-tries t-then m-my h-heart w-w-will s-s-s-s-stop..."
And I'm guessing that you don't want to become a lich or get a heart transplant?

Huh. I didn't know there was such a list. That'll be useful in future social interactions, though I really doubt I'll ever be on that list for that specific reason. Thanks.

Yeah, "this guy is dangerous" is usually the main reason someone gets on the list.  In my case I keep four: "Good to date," "dunno," "proceed with extreme caution," and "warn others at any appropriate opportunity."  People enter on the "dunno" list.  In practice, I don't date people who aren't on the "good to date" list anymore, since I've had way too many bad experiences with the "proceed with extreme caution" guys.
I can understand that. Now then, I need to evaluate behavior records of my schoolmates. Farewell.

Huh. Rot. Organic, then. You might want to talk to Herr Doktor, then. He might be able to help.
