Meanwhile, Darnos is doing some more practicing and such. This time he's set up a punching bag and is going at it.

He punches the bag with fairly good speed and strength, but then makes the mistake of throwing a kick in, which breaks one of his toes.

He stumbles back in the manner of people who've stubbed their toes, then sighs and lightly smacks himself in the forehead.
Apparently I need to relearn how to kick people. Now then, Ricardo's normally in his classroom at this time of day, so I'd better go there first. Then combat teacher. If I can't learn how to kick, not much point in having feet.
That said, he goes and does what he said he was doing.

It was on sale at the pet store, what else was I supposed to do?

I think this is the fourth time something like this has happened.
