I just finished watching The Iron Giant for the very first time.  I think that's the most I've cried at any film, ever... so good.
Ah, The Iron Giant.
Such a great movie. I haven't seen it in so long though...
* SSG goes off to fix that.
Have never seen it. Thanks for the reminder; got it for the kid and I'll just be watching along with her ;)
Edit: On second thought, reading the parental guidance thingies, might just be a little too much violence for a 5yr old.
It's about the same level of violence as ET up until the end (and what an end it is).
True. There's ... like 5 minutes total of violence in it? Not much really.
But no seriously go see it.

In other news, ME3 is awesome.

Look, it would have been my only chance. Save for using the Blood Bond Summoning (so long as Rag had OKed it) to bring back my gang for a no-holds barred beatdown (Which would have been fucking awesome!). Plus trying to beat her would have required so much Self Sacrifice I probably would have ended burning away half my lifespan. It would have been my only shot at winning.

P.S. Rag, can I get a little scene showing what exactly happened to Vornar after he died?
The bloodstain is mopped up by janitors.

((Won't be able to RP for several hours; Mass Effect 3.))

I've spent 73 hours and 56 minutes playing Mass Effect 2 as of now. Time to move onto 3.

Niklas will draw a chair in the dirt and try to manipulate that while waiting.

22611
I kinda forget what happened with the ending, though I remember it being wierd.
Well, hopefully it isn't too bad.

22612
Hmm. While I don't want to miss Javik, I'll get the Extended Cut thing.

22613
Question for those who've played Mass Effect 3: is it worth it without DLC?

22614
That propensity for candy is worrying, but you're an alright kid.

He leans back and relaxes.

22615
Sure. You're a cat, which I like, and a kid, which I don't dislike.

22616
Ah, I see. Just make sure to get out of the hot tub if you decide to fall asleep.

I'm sorry to hear about all that... some people are insensitive assholes. They might be stuck in their own world, and unaware of what they were doing, if that makes it any easier.

Anyway, I'm sending positive vibes your way. Even threw in a prayer to an entity whose nature, identity, or existence I'm entirely uncertain of. I kept myself disciplined, and did my best to be respectful, and not think any snarky thoughts at it either. I tried both reasoning and emotional appeals, as well as an appeal to its sense of Altruism. I mean, I figure it's not going to help unless it's at least somewhat Altruistic, so that seemed like the best way to go.

P.S. If your life suddenly gets worse, I sincerely apologize for communing improperly, or with the wrong supernatural entity, and getting you caught in the middle. :I
I'll try to intercede should this occur.

22618
Oh, not particularly. That's my magic. I fracture things.
He notices her yawn.
Tired already?

22619
Gah!
He grins.
I'd counter use magic on you, but - he presses his hand against the wall and it cracks -
-that would be unpleasant.

22620
It's fine, he assures.
He leans back against the edge.
This is kinda nice.
