Appearance/Description: A black-winged blackbird, he escaped the ruin of previous creation driven by the fear and confusion of a million other souls to come to this place. A fresh start, if you will. Once a bird, now a man, then a mere shadow, slipping through the cracks of the world, always watching, laughing, this is Raven's way. Always, whatever form he may take, he is marked by the darkness, however, always darkened as a reminder from a previous Overgod, a previous creation.
That one was so easy to destabilize....
Raven's been around for a long time, longer than anyone he knows! That's why he's called Ancient, after all, and he's earned that title. Uncounted ages of dancing and twirling on the winds of creation, twisting the winds just so, so that they would fly in the face of the keystone of whatever conflict is brewing and set the while edifice tumbling merrily down.
Raven is a trickster, a prankster of sorts. He rarely bothers with creation anymore, preferring to wander among the halls of the cosmos and ... meddle with the workings of it. A sly comment here, a little nudge there, and such titanic conflicts can be raised or extinuished with but a flick of the mind! This is his joy in life, having lost the will to create, having seen jealous others take it all away in fire and force too often. He'll always be there, whether you call him Coyote or Jackal or Loki. For this roundabout, though, he has chosen the name and form of Raven.
