I've almost never taken companions and when I do they're usually literal meatshields for the ubervampires in the mod I'm playing, so I've never had them survive a combat action.

Also, yes. It's pretty much a known fact that there are plenty of women at cosplay conventions that dress rather scantily, whether that's a positive or a negative is up for your interpretation.
